I stopped in on this beautiful Saturday morning to get one of my favorite bagels and I feel compelled to share my experience.They were very busy ( I actually had to wait outside for a few minutes) but things were moving along amazingly fast. All of the sudden the Tasmanian Devil rolls up to the counter and starts yelling about" no one answered the phone ,she was inconvenienced , it's not even busy in here '... you know the type !!!! I'm a princess and deserve to be treated like one. The entire staff did an amazing job of keeping their cool .Kudos to ya'll. I was truly appalled by her behavior. Shame on her!!!PS- My bagel melt was outstanding - Thank you
Went here for the first time on Sunday and had a horrible experience and will never come back.1. Tried calling the location ahead of time to make sure they had certain bagels in stock. It took several tries before someone finally answered the phone and I was able to reserve 2 bagels before they ran out.2. After arriving and placing my order with the 2 bagels i reserved. They somehow misplaced one of my bagels after toasting it, and it was the LAST ONE.So I could not just get another.3. After asking the staff to double toast my other bagel, it didn't appear as if it was toasted at all... it was not warm, not toasted, and tasted stale.While the staff and manager were friendly, this place is unorganized and run by inexperienced teens who can't even toast a bagel properly.
Great bagels and service. We stopped in on our way home to Central florida to bring a dozen bagels home with us.We,also bought a dozen for my elderly grandfather. He lives them, as so we!We'll be back when we go back to Jacksonville
I'm infuriated that I fed my kids from here. Hope everyone enjoys eating rat droppings. Look at their latest inspection. Restaurant report. That's the second time being shut down in the last 6 months. I'll definitely never return. Neither will my family.
Another sweet find. @bagelsrusjax was definitely worth it. Great assortment of cream cheeses. I got jalapeño with turkey in a cheese bagel.They do pile on the cream cheese. Literally enough to cover 3-4 bagels.Overall very delicious.
I have family in town so I want to get a treat at the best bagel store in jax. i drive to the other end of town for this. ordered a dozen bagels sliced with 2 flavored cream cheeses and nothing was sliced, i got 4 wrong bagels, and 1 of the cream cheeses was plain. girl at the register this morning is really all over the place and it's unfortunate that this happens regularly here at the best bagel shop in town.
Been there twice, bagels are great but the service is slow. Why can't you grab 6 bagels and put them in a bag as I ask for them. Doesn't make sense. Instead you have to wait for them to make 12 sandwiches before they can bag up your order.
Absolutely the best bagels south of New Jersey!!Avi, Eden and the rest of the staff are always exceptionally nice and complete orders fast. I love it here and go at least four days every week. I leave for work early because it gets busy at times, but you have to believe me it’s worth the wait!!!
As someone from New York living in Jacksonville, I have been searching for a good bagel place for the last 4 years. A few weeks ago on Sunday morning I stumbled upon Bagels 'r US trying to find a bagel shop near me. What I can say about this establishment is that if you want bagels outside of New York, and you live in Jacksonville, this is the place you need to go. I will be a lifetime customer as long as I am in Jax!
