The food wasn't bad. The flavors were a bit subdued. There wasn't any fish sauce for the spring rolls. This was my first time eating there. I am going to try them again today. I will ask for the fish sauce.
The chicken pad Thai was delicious but when I opened my to go box my friend and I though our food felt light. There was a lot less food than we thought there was going to be. That was disappointing for the amount of money each cost. My friend’s food only came with 3 shrimp. ?.
The service is always great and it’s just a convenient location when you’re in 5 points and craving Thai - but the food / spices is just okay. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. Prices are pretty affordable in comparison to other nearby Thai options
I ordered food to go and it tasted great, service was fast and I liked the atmosphere. I did think the portions were fairly small for the price though.
With the lack of Thai restaurants in Jacksonville this is generally a safe bet.The service is generally on point, but can be delayed as they only have one server for the entire 16 table restaurant, and handling take out and drink orders.I had duck curry. Presentation was fun and interesting... But serving duck on a rooster shaped plate was a little weird. Few vegetables; duck was savory and crispy, but I wouldn't call it fresh. Curry and heat was on point.Crab Rangoons were sour tasting. Curry flavor was non-existent and crab didn't taste fresh. I would recommend passing on these.Husband had Pad Thai. I didn't taste this, but he felt it was too sweet, granted he did order it without vegetables.Overall, a sweet place for intimate date night; and fantastic area in Five Points to go for a walk afterward.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, clean facilities, courteous staff. The food had a great flavor and level of spice but unfortunately it was expensive in proportion to the serving size. This is probably the norm in a urban setting like Jacksonville but this is the first time I've left a Thai restaurant without a box. My Thai tea and fried rice were delicious but about $25.
Food was delicious! I got the pad Thai and bf got the curry duck. YUM!
We have eaten here before and had pretty good experiences but this time it was so bad I couldn't even eat it. I threw it in the trash. I ordered the panang curry and the consistency was literally as thin as water and it was watery. The container wasn't filled past halfway. Extremely disappointed. I will not be throwing $14 in the garbage again.
Smallest portion servings for both appetizers and entrees I have ever seen. Ordered the spring rolls and it came out with 2 of the smallest spring rolls I have ever seen. Chicken satay appetizer came out with 4 pieces of what was essentially chicken nuggets. Paid Thai and Thai fried rice as entrees extremely underwhelming. Lacked flavor and extremely small portion. They did give us hefty pours of wine. But won’t be back for food. Cute atmosphere and nice workers but food was not good.
Fantastic food. Nice ambience and very friendly staff. Don't mistake this place for a fast food restaurant. It is really good food and decent price and they get busy, so a little patience goes a long way to enjoying the food. One of my favorite Thai spots in Jax.
