Ive been here a couple of times for lunch mostly pizza or calzone to go orders. This time for lunch I decided to Dine in and get the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was really good and I also like that it was toasted and slightly pressed like a panini. I do want to try a few entrees on the menu so of course I'll be back. The waiters are very kind and friendly. And the wait was not long for my dine in meal
Ordered online for the first time tonight. Will definitely repeat! Delivery was FAST, the food was delicious and there were enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Get the zucchini fries! Better yet, get DOUBLE the zucchini fries! Yes, they were that good.
First time dining in, pizza was fresh and delicious. Good service staff.
Great Service, very nice atmosphere
This is a great place for a lunch special. For 10$ you basically get a 3 course meal until 4PM. The staff is super friendly and the location is convenient. If I wanted a reliable meal and was in the area I would come back here again. You can bring the whole family here but I wouldn't bring a date here. Enjoy!
First time ordering from Al's. Ordered a regular cheese pie and was disappointed. The cheese had a strange texture to it. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life being Italian and from NYC and have never experienced that texture. The sauce was ok. Overall a big disappointment ?
I ordered the margarita pizza because of there online photo. I was very disappointed when I got home. I called the location and spoke with mgr Brian which was very vague and really didn't have anything to say other than did it taste good? I have not touched the pizza and he continues with what would you like Tara? At that point I ended the conversation. He should be demoted, he is definitely not Mgr material....
I usually don’t give reviews but I am exhausted from going to restaurants paying high prices food that is less than desirable. I went at lunch time today and spent $25 on 2 subs. I was told that at least the bread would be toasted. When we got our subs. They felt like they were pulled from the refrigerator through the aluminum foil that they were wrapped in. The bread was not toasted and very hard when biting. Thanks for the first and last experience.
Placed a pick up order for a veggie Sicilian pizza and Italian sausage app. When I walked in to pick up my order, it was completely dead inside. That should’ve been my first sign then. Food was cold and flavorless. The Sicilian crust was hard as a rock and the sausages were tough. I remember Al’s pizza being the place to be and having some of the best pizza in Jacksonville. I’m not sure what’s happened since the last time I’ve been. Unfortunately, this will be my last time visiting Al’s.
Always perfect at this location. Nice crust perfect toppings...so good. Whether dine in or delivery the pie is perfect. I live close by and it arrives like it was just taken out of the oven.
