This place is small and tucked into a building across from the beach access, so we were just expecting regular ol pizza. It was amazing. Authentic Italian menu with tons of options. The portions were huge. The flavors were balanced and spot on with quality ingredients and not too greasy. I had the calzone and it is easily one of the best I've ever had. The manager/owner was walking around checking in on people. Just a very welcoming place. It's a very casual environment, counter service, then go choose a table and they'll bring the food to you. If we ever return to Jax, we'll stop back by.
The entire tropical drink.menu is delicious!
Best Tropical drinks in the area! If you like rum you will love this place. Some of the best pizza and hoagies (subs for the non northern folks) in Jax Beach! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We waited for an hour for our food so that part wasn’t great. My kids were crying and the cook yelled at my husband. However… the staff made it right. I appreciate them fixing the situation and I left with happy kids. Because of this… we will be back!
Worst pizza EVER. Overly expensive, bland and just outright a sham to pizza everywhere. Ordered a half pepperoni half cheese 13 inch pizza. First off that ran $17.00 and change. The pizza took forever to come out and when it did it looked like a kindergartner just threw things together. Out of all the slices only 3 had cheese(and barely any). They dumped all their bland sauce all over the pie to where the other slices were just a thin slice of dough soaked with sauce and pepperoni just thrown on top of it(see picture below)I NEVER write reviews especially if the place is bad...but this place was just a disgrace to pizza joints. Looks nice prob has a nice vibe and drinks, but pizza...TRASH!If you're ever in Jacksonville beach and get in the mood for pizza avoid V Pizza at all cost. Same amount of money you can get yourself a decent pizza that has actual flavor and even amount of toppings
Someone's first day on the job maybe? C'mon guys, how about a little quality control. My wife and I were disappointed to open this at home after a long day. Really I am surprised the kids working there would lack the good sense to even look at this and think it is ok to give a customer.
This is not the typical place to celebrate your anniversary but it was perfect. We met family there and had a great evening. What I believe to be the owner or manager was super friendly and offered us suggestions which we took. He was right on the mark and the piccante and the margherita pizzas were amazing. At the end of the evening, he was even kind enough to take a few photos of our group. Great pizza, atmosphere and service. Will definitely return.
These pizzas were fresh and tasty. I love the way the chicken pesto was made. Just the right amount of pesto. The drink is a mule, not your traditional mule but it was ok.
I think the pizza is pretty good, they try to emulate Neapolitan pizza. But one of the keys of this style is it is affordable and accessible. I think their prices are way too high for the product they are delivering. Additionally, the wait times are really way too long for whatever reason. Anyway, decent take on a Neapolitan style but don’t expect Frank Pepes in NYC.
We were greeted by the manager Florio and cashier Jacob when we walked in. They made us feel at home right away by asking if we had any questions and offered suggestions. It was obvious Jacob was busy and multi-tasking, but still managed to be friendly, accommodating and not break a sweat. Florio was extremely friendly and treated us like he’d know us forever. We had the cheese pizza, white pizza, GF white pizza and traditional wings (signature flavor). Excellent pizza with fresh ingredients and the best wings I’ve ever eaten. All in all it was a great dining experience. Can’t wait to go back.
