I ordered an avocolado with no turbinado, as Ali drive away I notice there is turbinado in the smoothie. So I’ll drive away and go about my day knowing my order was wrong and I didn’t get a receipt to do a survey. So I leave this review of one star, and hope your order is right. Have a good day
Detox island green had way to much ginger in it. I still drank it but not the best one I've had that's a fact.
This is my doggo Chance. He was a Reacue and he was awesome. We had to have him put to sleep yesterday he was only 5 years old. I walked into Tropical Smoothie in Jacksonville Beach last night to get myself some dinner after a very long, very difficult day. I just wanted to eat a flatbread sandwich on the patio and decompress. I was taking a minute or 2 at most to look at the menu and decide on a smoothie when the 20 something kid working there started to visibly let me know that I was taking to long. I apologized to him and told him that it had been a long day and we had to put our pupper to sleep so plz have patience with me. His response was to laugh. No attempt to hide it except to put his hand up to his nose and mouth but continued to laugh all the same. I instantly felt embarrassed, ashamed, horrified…. Then angry and then just lost. How do you react to that anyway? I started to back up and cry when he goes, no no wait, I just again said I’m sorry and fumbled to open the door as he just began laughing again. The employee standing next to him just turned away from me so that I didn’t actually see him laughing, whether it was at me or at the other guy for laughing at me, but nobody, not one single employee tried to come speak to me. I left my keys inside because I just needed to get out of there. Now I’m just stuck sitting in my car because my keys are inside and I’m not going back in there. I call my husband to come get my keys for me and I sit in the back seat waiting because I’m parked right in front of the big window looking straight into where they are standing to take orders from customers. My husband arrived and went to get my keys but the doors were locked and he asked them why they were closed as it wasn’t even 9:00 yet and they told him that they had to close early due to a customer related incident. It was me…I was the incident. Anyway, I will never step foot inside of this place ever again nor will I ever accept another ubereats or DoorDash order from them again either. I’m appalled at the entire situation and I’ve reached out to the owner but have heard not a peep. I can only assume that they are ok with what happened. Bottom line is that they don’t care about their customers, CLEARLY. Chance was an amazing boy and nothing about his sudden unexpected death was funny. NOT ONE THING!!!!
Today I put my order in online and arrived about 20 minutes later and my smoothies weren't ready it was no big deal I didn't mind I understand there can be delays but after 20 more minutes and no updates from the staff I asked how my order was doing some people had been walking in and getting service The staff then told me that my order wasn't showing up in their system and asked me for my receipt so I showed it to them. It turns out they weren't impressed with my receipt and refused to start making my smoothies stating the order still didn't show in the system and they needed an order number to proceed. I showed them the order number and they still weren't impressed and refused to make my smoothies I told them ok just cancel my order since I had already paid and again they refused and now its been 40 minutes of getting a runaround no smoothies and no refund. I asked for a manager and they told me there wasn't a manager so I asked for the owner's contact details and they refused and now I have been there for an hour and now many of the other customers are getting upset since now 3 employees are involved with not helping me in any way just giving excuses. I then had no recourse but to walk out empty handed
Terrible customer service. Walked up to the counter and the cashier stared at me blankly without saying anything. So I just went ahead and said what I wanted. He then jumped on the line, made two orders for people who came in after me and then mine. Then he made my order wrong by adding sugar. The drink I ordered comes without sugar and it was so cloyingly sweet that it was obvious. I asked him if he made the drink with sugar. He said no, clearly a lie. Will never go back to this location.
Very disappointed. I go to Tropical Smoothie frequently in Jax. I always get the same wrap and this location made it incorrectly, corrected it when I pointed it out and, even after correcting it, it was still very poorly made. They argued they were only allowed to put a certain amount of ingredients on the wrap. There was literally less than a teaspoon of humus and maybe a tablespoon of avocado and it was a Hummus Veggie Wrap! I have never had one made that poorly and I have had dozens from numerous locations in several states.
The service was horrible. Almost 20mins on a smoothie. People ordering after me got theirs. The cashier said I very very rude! Not attentive at all. Actually skipped over me and confused the other customers in line.Also I think you are putting your employees and customers in danger when you allow them to count their cash register down at the front door.Plz revisit that policy.
owners are wonderful people - found something I lost and made sure I got it back. when I went to pick up had lunch and it was delicious! thank you!
Great food and smoothie's
love their smoothies here, had tried NEKTER previously & had one of the worst smoothies, Tropical smoothie more than made up for it in quality of ingredients, as well as taste/flavor, & pricing was extremely fair. 10/10 would recommend, & definitely order again!
