June 29, 2022 Dear Frank, I’d like to thank you so much for the catering job you did for our son’s rehearsal dinner last Friday night. When Amanda first suggested we use you, I was a little skeptical that you could do a fine dining experience, as I view Salt Life as more casual beach dining. We could not have been happier with the quality and quantity of food your team served. From the sushi platter appetizer to the Caesar salad to the steaks and chicken; everything was delicious. We were told by several of our guests that they had never been to a rehearsal dinner this nice. Your servers were helpful in serving at the buffet line and had everything cleaned and boxed up by then end of the evening. It couldn’t have been any easier. Our first time eating at a Salt Life Food Shack and it will not be our last!! Appetizer we had the fried calamari and it was some of the best I’ve had and had a great dipping sauce, we also had the chips and Queso it was just ok. For our main meal I got the fried grouper basket and it was awesome the fries just ok, my wife got the woodgrilled salmon and my wife said it was real good. For dessert we had key lime pie, it was good not the best I’ve ever had and not the worst it was good. The thing that made our experience here so good was our waitress her name was Shelby she said after the car, she was bubbly, awesome personality, VERY attentive to our needs and we never wanted for anything she was on top of her game. Ask for her if you go to the Jacksonville location you will not be disappointed. I hope to return
I ordered Asian shrimp kebobs and they were the best meal I had while vacationing in Florida. Also my husband liked his fish soup also (bowl was huge). Large portions! We sat outdoors which was pleasant with their large ceiling fan.
Our survey Mel, did a great job. Service was exceptional, her food recommendations were spot on. She had a terrific personality and continued to check on us for additional things. Highly recommend especially if the servers are all like Mel.
Marissa was amazing! She was so attentive to my family and made sure that we had everything we needed. She came back to make sure everything was good and was so nice. The food was delicious but she made this an even more delightful experience. We will definitely be back and we will ask for her every time!
We came just to have a couple drinks and a couple appetizers. The food was really good the service was great. Sydney was our server and she was always on top of anything that we needed. It’s nice to see that some people still care about good service!
Food, service, and location is great when I come to jax beach. I come often as a transplant recipient at the local Mayo Clinic. I've came many times with family and friends; always great, clean, and food is amazing!!
We were seated quickly for a Friday night at 9pm and having 2 dogs. Shelby was the best part of a fantastic meal. She was knowledgeable about recommendations, made sure we had everything we needed, and her recommendations were spot on. The avocado fries and Salmon BLT were outstanding. Thanks for a great ending to a great day, Shelby!
Bailey was our server. We came to have dinner for our aunts birthday and we had fourteen of us. Bailey was very attentive and friendly. I had the crunch roll which was awesome. My husband had the shrimp taco and mahi taco which was very tasty, too.
I haven’t even left the parking lot and wanted to immediately share. After enjoying a delicious meal with family, we are leaving impressed and thankful! Atmosphere, cuisine, and service is top notch! Excellent service from Shelby… aka- Shelburata! She was so attentive and kind. We had a little boy so inquisitive about the aquarium and she took time during our meal to show him photos/videos of the fish answering questions while attending to all her patrons. Thank you for an excellent night out. We will be back and look forward to sharing our experience tonight with others.
