We were a Party of six. Came around 2 and ate off the lunch menu. Was great!! Fried Crab cheese was great appetizer! All u can eat sushi was great. All the food we ate was great actually. Service was just as great! The waiters recommended sushi, showed how to order and wait for sushi and food was short! Highly recommend!
My lovely friend Margo suggested Rainbow Sushi for our birthday lunch and it was a real treat!! It was great fun picking our selections from a broad menu that included rolls, noodles, soups and so much more! The service was perfect and the food tasted fresh and so flavorful! I can’t wait to get back and try more.
Great lunch with my daughter and mother in law! Everything was fresh and came quickly. Fried foods were hot and crispy, and the sushi was delicious!
Don’t. This is what we got for close to $40. Hilarious. Shrimp hibachi is 6 shrimp. Literally. And some sushi rolls. Very disappointed.
Delicious! Great service and excellent sushi! Try the steak and noodles and the green dragon roll!
Food is ok, for the price. Went for lunch and my daughter found the tip of a plastic glove in her sushi roll; was grossed out and stopped eating. Informed the employee, who contacted the owner, who said that happens sometimes. “I’m so sorry…we will give you 20% off.” I declined the offer and insisted that he take my daughter’s meal off of the bill, because she barely ate anything, and he agreed. Service was slow but ok. Asked a server for wasabi and ginger but had to walk up to the bar to remind him after 10 minutes. Both of our meals were compensated, and still tipped the server, as it wasn’t his fault. I hope they switch to fitted rubber gloves. Not the end of the world. Will eventually return to give them another chance. But not a good first impression.
April 2022: Re opened with all you can eat sushi menu for less than $20.Gave it a try and it's worth it. Sushi and kitchen items are quite good, although the hand rolls contain mostly rice and very little fish, so typical of all you can eat sushi restaurants. However, what I endulged here for $15 would have cost me three times or more at the two sushi places located a few blocks north. Soft, tranquil environment, and attentive service. What else can you ask at these prices ! Yes, go for it. Thumbs up.
Food is amazing! I had the hibachi chicken and two rolls. Service was quick! All you can eat!
If you're interested in good sushi ? then I recommend stopping by! I got two sets of sushi (though I'm not ?) , the colorful one is: Phoenix which has mango and avocado on the outside. It was so good! Highly recommend anyone who likes a little sweeter sushi to try it. Definitely a favorite. ? The second one was a house special, and I believe it was called: angry dragon. ? It wasn't quite as good, but the ingredients tasted fresh, just not quite to my taste (way too much cream cheese). Don't get me wrong I like cream cheese, but it was overflowing. Both had krab ? which is my favorite. As for the hot dish, the rice ? didn't have much flavor but the noodles ? were excellent. Everything else was about average. The place was very clean, the waiter was very sweet and the atmosphere was nice. It's a bit a of a drive just to get sushi but if you're a sushi ? fan then be sure to stop by!
Family friendly restaurant with excellent selection of fresh fish and associated dishes. We ate everything on our plates, but we were definitely stuffed as a result! Staff was friendly and prompt, and made sure we were served what we wanted in a timely fashion. Next time in Jax, we are definitely coming back! Good Job, Sake House!
