We stopped by for breakfast this morning and this place was busy but super efficient. They told us a 15-20 minute wait, had us sat in 12. Food came out hot and quick. SARAH! She was AMAZING! This girl was on it. Even though she was busy she had no problem answering all of the questions we had, and always checking on us to make sure we had everything we need. She was super sweet and helpful.
Sarah at metro dinner in jax beach was super kind and attentive. She recommended my food and it was so good! Haven’t had breakfast out anywhere in awhile but my girlfriend and I are so glad we came in! Love it here and love the service!
The food was really good!! The pancakes are thick. Kaylee was our server and she was great! (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong ?) Very short wait to be seated and the food came out literally 10 minutes after we ordered! My boyfriend and I will be back.

Spent some time with my two most favorite loved ones here. They took me for breakfast as I was unable to get that time with them earlier in the week.We enjoyed ourselves in the restaurant and we arrived before the rush. They tried the creme' coffee of the day. One had avocado toast (which I've made 3 days this week because of it!!!). I had the fried chicken benedict which was SO good! The final person in our group had half shrimp and grits with extra shrimp.
My husband and I love eating here! Their chicken and waffles are amazing. They have very good burgers also.I tried their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant this morning and it was not it. It had no seasoning at all. So needless to say it was not finished.
We were so glad to find a great selection of great food at a reasonable price close to our hotel! And friendly service to boot! Thank you!
Hubby and I stopped here for brunch today, first time. I have loved Metro Diner since I worked on Hendricks Avenue, and one opened in St. Augustine several years ago, so we know what to expect. The Eggs Benedict I got this morning was Out.Of.This.World! I'm kind of an EB aficionado in that I LOVE it when made right. The eggs were PERFECT and the Hollandaise was ?awesome ?! Service was great too. Thanks, Christina!!! Just want to make sure you know you're doing great!
The food and service was good. We had breakfast- steak skillet and pancakes. Menu has a variety of selections. Would go again if in the area. Friendly staff.
Reasonable prices, freshly prepared home style food. Family friendly environment with fast service. Gluten free bread. Kaylee was a wonderful waitress!
