I would give this place zero stars if I could.There was a hand written menu advertising $9.99 ramen. I ordered and they tried to charge $13. So i change my order to something from the printed menu...The $10 sushi bowl with two proteins looked good. When i went to pay they charged me $14. The printed menu was "wrong" they said.Out of curiosity and in preparation for writing this review, I looked at their online menu. Would you believe the online price was different from the hand written menu, the printed menu, and the digital, in-store sign menu? Yeah, they had four different prices!!!! To be on the safe side, they charged the most expensive of the four prices.Long story short, f.u. sushi burrito. My first visit will be my last. Publix subs tastes better and are half the price while using transparent pricing and not begging for tips.P.s almost forgot about the soda prices. The in-store menu said $3.50 for a japanese soda. When i went to pay it was $4 plus tax. "Solly, covid and infration"
I recommend visiting the Tropea Way location instead.The staff at this location isn’t as friendly. Can’t hear them, the staff mumbles.They don’t ask if it’s Take-Out or Dine-in. You automatically get the plastic bowl. This is unlike the other location. I did plan on dining in. I ended up leaving the location after receiving the plastic bowl and ate at the beach.First, I asked for lettuce. She already filled the bowl with rice before I asked for anything, and took a huge sigh before dumping it back in.When I asked for salmon, I was confused why there was a half spoonful total of meat. It looked like way less than what is usual. Then I figured out she wasn’t going to tell me I needed to clarify BOTH are salmon.I paid, tipped, and left. And the bowl was the least impressive of the dozens of Kazu Sushi bowls I’ve had.Just go to the Tropea Way location!
After accidentally making a order at the wrong location, we arrived at this location expecting our order to be ready (this part is our fault) we were met with confusion and staff who made no effort to be helpful. They refused to help with figuring out how to get refunded from the other location and getting our order fulfilled at this location. They made it seem as they would help and remake our order at this location, but then after making the order they asked for a payment, resulting in us spending $180 in total between the two locations with no refund from the first. In addition we called the other location in attempt to get the refund and they were also unhelpful and said they “would call company” then hung up. To add to it, once finally eating the food we found a black hair in one of ours burritos (all of us are blonde). The one sushi ordered was smashed together and didn’t even look like sushi.
I usually love getting the hibachi bowl from this place but tonight while I was eating I saw a cockroach in the bowl ??. I’m so disappointed and disgusted ?.
What a find. The sushi was fresh. The rice was properly prepared and the add-ins were out of this world. I got the tuna sushi burrito. Two kinds of tuna, lots of avocado, and more. Will be back.
The food here is amazing! They have giant sushi burritos, and that is exactly what it sounds like. They have a vast array of sauces, which is right up my alley! The hibachi food is really good also. Service leaves a little to be desired but that won't stop me from enjoying all the yummy!
Terrific! Amazing selection of burrito options. We turned ours into bowls and I've never seen a poke bowl made so quickly. They know what they're doing! Really enjoyed my bowl, super tasty. Restaurant was neat and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Check out the really fun drink cooler selections and amazing mural.
Sushi burrito was really good. Made the mistake of getting the noodle soup. Very bland, was not good at all. Just stick with the burritos
Ordered the Dynamite fried burrito. Very good taste, but very oily. Gave me heartburn later?. Will go back & order differently. Ps. 2 burritos 2 drinks almost $40. Damnit man?
Stopped here for dinner during my sons baseball game. Food was great and average cost. Staff was great.
