***CHECK REVIEWS BEFOREHAND *** Joe’s Crab Shack wasn’t necessarily 5 stars in the past but they have surely fallen off big time over the years. If management knew anything about managing, they’d read the reviews and adjust. All of the people can’t be saying the same thing and it’s just a coincidence. The food was absolutely horrible. Asked for more shrimp because the batter was too thick and hard and the shrimp were overcooked and hard. The fish…meh. Fries cold. Asked for more shrimp…it came out cold. The $80 king crab pot…a joke. You’d be better off letting Publix steam it for you or eating at Juicy Crab for that matter. Okay, the weather was great. Lucas, our server, who was new, by the way, was great. But I won’t be back unless it’s just for drinks at the bar.

I had dinner for my birthday here a couple of years ago and was sorely disappointed when I returned this year. Of 3 appetizers we ordered, only one was available and the garlic toast was hard. It took forever. And the meal was just sad. Basic fish, plain rice, and a small scoop of broccoli. The best thing about the night was the sunset on the beach. And of course you can never complain about good company.

Splendid environment! Great food! Our food was fresh and not bad on the budget. The decor is awesome. The place was clean and inviting. Our server was wonderful. Its a great location with a phenomenal view of the ocean. Its beach front so it's easy access when youre on the beach having fun. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and plan to go again. The shark nibble is really cool if you have children. I highly recommend this place for a bite to eat to everyone who visits!

Gross, overcooked food, a slow inattentive staff and inexcusable poor quality makes this a place to never visit again. The oceanfront premium location does not make up for the horrible food and service. I gave them 3 chances, but will never be back. Never. Ever. I'd give zero stars if I could. Go to Captain D's or Long John Silvers and you'll be happier. Starvation is a better option even than this place.

ONLY THING WAS GOOD WAS THE FISH!!! Fries was cold! Rice wasn’t seasoned! Salmon was burnt! Flounder was burnt! Then, when you ask for manager he has an attitude ?! Bathroom was filthy! Toilets don’t work!

Terrible food. Everything was overcooked and probably cooked in the same oil. We found lots of popcorn shrimp in our calamari. No matter what you order it will taste the same. And we had to wait hour + for a table and there were only 5 tables full at the time. If you order additional items you will have to remind them constantly to bring them to you or you won’t get it. But you’ll see them on your bill. Overall sad and terrible experience.

Great service, excellent food!

We came by on a Saturday afternoon early for lunch. We were seated well before the quoted 90 minute wait time, and didn't feel rushed in any way. Despite being short staffed, our waiter was on the ball. We got drinks, appetizers, and our entrees came promptly and without a hitch. I recommend Joe's as a local institution. It's right on the beach and has a decent amount of free parking. It's a great place to have a great time!

Wanted to eat supper here and upon entering was told only had one server so wait would be awhile, so we went to bar to sit and nobody would wait on us so we left. Only place we have been to that had staffing problems . Think it might be a sinking ship.

The service was horrible!!!! Our server at first was great… but then after she took our order she never came back. Someone else brought out our food. We never received our appetizer. She never checked back up on us. Not once got a refill on drinks. Eventually after eating we had to go find someone to give us our check. Then after 15 more minutes she showed back up. I’m usually very patient and I understand that staffing can be limited these days but this was just awful.
