Best chicken I ever had no lie.. I’m goin back tomorrow.. Can’t tell from the pic but I had a 3piece meal and 7piece meal LOL.. cashier was super cool and someone brought my food out to the car just because I walked outside… overly appreciative!!
We tried the menu as a fun outing first visit. Delicious tenders, prefer the hand breaded over the grilled both are good. Love the crinkle cut fries and the house made kettle chips are really good. Lemonade was very tasty, not too sweet. Good choice of sauces, we tried them all. Even the cookies were tasty. We'll be back.
Ordered pick up. Drove from Arlington specifically for this place. Order: 20 Tenders, 10 in sweet heat. 4 pieces toast, chips, 2 side salads and 4 dips. The family meal. What we got: 23 Tenders. No sweet heat. No salads. No dips. 2 pieces of toast.They were not busy. There is no excuse for this huge of an error.We won't be back.
This is a fried chicken sandwich place with some excellent salads. The sandwich was crispy and juicy without being greasy. I had a Farm Fresh salad which was a spring mix with great broiled chicken and an excellent vinaigrette. I'm guessing that they're brining the chicken cause I haven't seen anything like it in the area.
First time eating here and OMG it is the filet mignon of chicken!!!! We loved the fried chicken tenders it was so good it didn't even need any dipping sauce the fries where hot and crispy with good seasoning on them, as we sat down and ate Robert came out to check on us and refill our drinks. Way better then Chick-fil-A.
We have always loved Huey Magoos and use to frequent there often. However after today’s experience i wouldn’t ever recommend this shop to anyone. My roommate has an autoimmune disease and therefore has a severe allergy to gluten. They have always been great about following protocol about allergies and have never had a problem. Today, she requested the normal, glove change before prepping her food. This takes someone about 15 seconds to do at most. not a major inconvenience. The cashier mocked her. When she was waiting for her food to be made and handed out, she could hear the kitchen and FOH loudly making jokes about her allergy and once again, mocking her. When the food was finally given to her, they said “here’s your gluten free, extra gluten”. Horrible service. And the fact there was no manager there to monitor this, horrible ownership. just avoid this place.
We order a lunch for two.The coleslaw didn't have a good taste. I returned it and the offer me another side, we choose chips. The chicken tenders, we order half grill and half fried both were good. French fries and toast was good as well. Overall experience was good and the people were friendly and polite.
Great vibe, awesome guys with awesome personalities. Best chicken tenders I've ever had, the breading and the quality of the chicken are out of this world. The sweet heat sauce, fries, and magoo sauce are also noteworthy, we'll be back. soon. and probably more often than we should :)
I went in 10 before closing and they still took my order. Very friendly, and the food tasted great. I loved the dipping sauce ?
Legit the best chicken around! The lemon pepper sauce is my favorite! I would choose Magoo's over chickfila any day and you never have to wait in a long line if you place your order online for pickup window ;-)
