Not worth going out of your way for. We did, because they have outdoor, waterfront seating----- but none of their outdoor tables had umbrellas on them! So zero shade! Hot and miserable. I see umbrellas in the pictures on their listing, so at one point they had umbrellas. All gone now. Yall need some shade for people eating outside. The service was just ok. No one was rude, but no one was overly friendly or helpful either. The food was ok. It wasn't bad. But it definitely wasn't special. Unless you're in the area, you can skip this one.

We wanted something quick and light for our late lunch because we were close to dinner time. It was our first time here and our experience was amazing! On the dock and they were quick! Not only were the fast, they were fresh AND amazing! My boyfriend and I both ordered the blackened shrimp and they both came with slaw, fries, and hushpuppies. I love a good hushpuppies and that's what they have! We also ordered their Buffalo fish bites for appetizer and they were good as well! We'll be back next time for sure!

The food was ok, it just took our order a bit longer than others. The order system is slow and I didn’t like having to go back up and wait for drink refills.

When we arrived at 6pm, a line snaked out the front door and down the entrance ramp. I must say, the line moved along at a reasonable pace! You order at a register near the entrance and food is delivered to the table. Great value for the money. Was it the "best" seafood?-- no, but it was very good and certainly worth a visit! The surprise hits were the collards and black eyed peas... as a substitution. The fries were totally fine, but ordinary, so go for the collards or peas and elevate your meal.

Upon arrival we placed pur order at the counter. The staff were very knowledge of the menu and gave great recommendations for first-timers! I had the basket with 3 items (grilled shrimp, scallops and blackened trigger fish). The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. The flavors balanced each other very well! The service staff were helpful, friendly and created a great dining experience for us! Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

Very disappointed! I ordered the trio (Grouper, shrimp and scallops) with a side of clam strips. I realized that the fish I “tried” to eat was NOT grouper. This is a different king of fish in my basket. Grouper usually has a flaky rich texture. This fish is spongy, salty and doesn’t taste fresh. Update: This morning at 11:10 am I spoke to the manager and explained to her about my experience. She was very professional and apologized. I was told that I could come in later today or whenever and that she would put the information up on the board about me receiving another grouper. Now, I just got off from work at 6:30 and I spoke to tonight’s manager named Jayno. He told me that if I had spoken to someone earlier today that they would’ve put the information on the board. He told me that there was nothing he could do for me because I am calling him a day later and I “sat” in the restaurant and I should have done something about it then. He also said that if I wanted another grouper that he would have to “charge me the difference” of the grouper by itself because when I purchased the trio the grouper is charged based off of the trio. I explained to him that I was not sure what he was talking about but I did not sit inside anyone’s restaurant. The reason why it is a day later that I am contacting them is because I purchased my meal in the evening therefore if they close at 9 PM how am I supposed to bring my food back for resolve which is why I called at 11 am this morning to speak to someone. I wasn’t able to come there during the day because I was working but the manager told me that I didn’t have to come up there and that if I came up there later another manager could help me. In addition, I am not sure why I am having to be charged for anything. I don’t understand why I’m being given a hard time at all! I’m appalled!!!! I seriously feel like I was speaking to Ashton Kutcher and I’m being punked because I have never ever received such rude, condescending and unprofessional behavior from management at any establishment like this. I am stunned with Dockside and I will never come in there and eat again and I will also let anyone know about my experience.

if you’re a seafood fan, then make sure to get here! fresh & tasty!

Loved this place so much we ate here twice. Seafood is fresh and cooked to order. Generous portions. Priced right. This is a casual busy place and we got there right when it opened or Before 5. You order first and find a seat. The line moves fast.

Don't let the long line stop you from enjoying this terrific spot! There is plenty of nearby self parking along with a valet option. The process is order at the counter and you are then handed a GPS gizmo that assists staff in delivering your order to the table. We arrived about 7:00pm on a Friday night, there were 30+ people in line ahead of us, yet things moved quickly and we were inside in 25 minutes. Selecting seafood chowder, fried haddock with a buttermilk breadcrumb dusting, blackened Mahi tacos, Caesar salad and a two choice basket of fried clam strips and Bay scallops. Ok, way more food than 2 adults needed, but we wanted to try as many selections as we could. All offerings were stellar! Clam strips were fresh and lightly breaded with a hint of garlic. The Mahi tacos came with 4 warm soft shells and the fish portion was generous. The scallops were sweet and tender. The baskets arrive with fries, but with so much seafood were left mostly untouched. Beverages range from soft drinks, tea and beer and wine. All are reasonably priced. We are already talking about a second visit

Located on the water under the bridge on the intracoastal waterway, Dockside Seafood is a partial self-service restaurant where you order at the counter and they deliver to your table. They provide assistance after that including all clean up. We had Crab Savannah soup which was delicious but the portion was very small. We had a Catch Basket with flounder and an Oyster Basket and twice baked potato. Everything was delicious. Service was great. The Sutter Home small bottled wine was very cheap and tasted that way. Great views.
