Haven't eaten at Cruisers in a minute, and it just as good as I remember. The burger was amazing. The fries are crisp and tasty and the ranch is the absolute GOAT. My wife hates ranch, and thought dipping fries in ranch is stupid. Until she had their ranch, and it was Earth shattering. No photos, as this as a grab and go situation. Next time.
First time eating here… Food was delicious and great service. I picked this place based on the $ on google saying it was $1-$10 per person thinking I could get a relatively inexpensive lunch. It definitely should have been a $$ because there was nothing under $10 to order. Sucked it up and spend the extra, but lunch for two 4 yr olds and one adult with no drinks was $31 after tip
My husband and I went to Cruisers for the first time on Monday (Memorial Day). Even though they were busy our waitress was fantastic. We ordered fried mushrooms to start & even though they were a little salty we both enjoyed them. We both absolutely loved the burgers we ordered. We both said they were the best burgers we had eaten in a long time. The fries and ranch are fantastic too.
Upon arrival, no host for a solid five minutes...many waitstaff bustling about the place...no acknowledgement. There was a couple in front of our party trying to be seated...the staff prepared a table for twelve...nope...just two people! After we were finally seated, the waitress was very prompt, engaging and efficient. The food was delicious and our evening was enjoyable.Unsure why there was such a wait in being seated, however, all services after we're quite good. We will return and try again another evening.
We were visiting the area with guests from Germany. We saw Cruisers Grill and decided to give it a try. If you’re only looking for alcoholic drinks, this looks like a good place. If you’re looking for a place to eat, we’d recommend you save your cash and look for another restaurant. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was so tough and the bun wasn’t fresh that most of the sandwich wasn’t eaten. The marinated chicken nuggets were ordered. Most of them weren’t eaten either. And the turkey dish (Kentucky Hot Brown) covered with cheese loaded with salt could only be half eaten. The bill came to $70.00 and 75% of the food on the dishes couldn’t be eaten. We were very disappointed. ☹️
We had lunch here for the first time. We were perusing the menu when I came across an item that just made me laugh. "The Royal With Cheese" ( a reference to one of my favorite movie "Pulp Fiction") "I HAD to order it. The burger was very good. I ended up halving it (it is large) and sharing it with my husbands who thought it was very good. He had the blackened shrimp tacos. They were OK, you could not taste any spice and we love spicy. The tortillas were a bit dry, I think they were placed in an oven to warm and dried out. None of our meals came with fries, so we decided to try their onion rings which were over cooked almost to the point of burnt. The portion is small for a side dish. Next time we will try their fries. Needless to say we will be back.
Mixed thoughts. Prices were expensive, I asked for light pink and all three burgers were mostly pink instead, fries were seasoned well but limp. There were hardly any lettuce or onion, especially compared to amount of beef which was sizable. For the prices, I would pass on this location.
During a month’s stay in Jax Beach we were lucky enough to find a very local place to call our Happy Hour hangout. Ashley and Jennifer were great bartenders!
The fries here with their ranch sauce are the best fries. I love these fries and some of the best I’ve tasted. They make their dressings from scratch.
Holy inflation and renovation Batman! It was 20$ for a burger and a root beer float.Yeah didn’t even order a side.Over priced burger was tasty. But not 10$ tasty.I’m sad and I miss the old burger diner turn into the rebuild profit monster I see.I am sure business will do well. But it’s just not worth it to eat here anymore.
