Next to gas station and trash smells bad, but fast service. Cookies are very sweet tasting. Ice cream is good!!! I would say 6/10
Milkshakes every Wednesday. A local cookie & ice cream shop owned by the sweetest people. You can get scoops of ice cream or make your own ice cream sandwiches, even mixing and matching the two cookies. Seating is outside only, but it's a great place to meet-up with friends to hang out and catch up.
The place was a great spectacle to see from jacksonville. A small quaint shop by a gas station 2 blocks from the beach is a marvel. With a cute patio area with tons of games and decent seating. The killer is the ice cream is very much ok. For its local feel and surfer vibe I was expecting a little more from the flavors of the cookies and ice cream. I ordered an ice cream sandwich; the ice cream was cookies and creme (the name of the shop which I would expect to be the best flavor) it was tasteless and didn't give me enough cookie taste more milky; the cookies were campfire (smore sorta style which only the center had a filling and the rest was just bland sugar cookie) and a chocolate chip (very hard to mess up but again was very tasteless) and they just didn't do what another cookie places can do. Would love to see the quality of the product to go up, soo much potential!!
Happened by this ice cream joint while on vaca at Jacksonville Beach. Love the concept of building your own ice cream sandwiches. Place was super busy as you can see in the photos. The cookies were so good and the ice cream didn't disappoint. The only knock is that they were out of a lot of stuff by the time we got there. Lol. Def worth a try for anyone in the area.
This is a super amazing concept. I have went twice once to try the cookie sandwiches then again to try the milkshakes. Both times everything was correct with my order, it came out super fast, and I have no complaints about the service. The only thing I don't like is the huge amount of plastic waste, it would be cool to use those little paper "boats" for people who are dining there, and save the plastic clamshell for maybe to go orders? It's a super adorable little restaurant and definitely a great place to bring the kids. Lots for kids to do out in front while they wait for a treat! Thanks!!!
From Shake Night Wednesday to a cup of plain chocolate ice cream to the biggest ice cream sandwich I've ever had...Cookies and Creme is amazing! Highly recommend. Beaches love Ray and Jen!
We love this place! Wednesday Shake Night is now one of our favorites! The best! Service was fast and great as well. Love playing the games outside while we hang out. Right by the beach too.
The dessert was on point 4 stars for that alone.The downfall for me was the customer service I would give them a 1 on that! They ( look like teenagers working) who were not attentive and welcoming. No friendly smiling faces and rude.
spent 1 night in Jacksonville beach on a road trip & found this place in a search for local eats... SO happy I stopped by. The store front is small, but easily identified by the line of customers right at 5p when they opened. The menu is so fun & customizable! I got a gromlette- their smaller cookie, ice cream sandwich option. My order was 1 brownie cookie, 1 chocolate chip, and their thin lizzy (thin mint) ice cream with mixed nuts as my topping and every was delicious, individually & together. if you're in the area, this is a must try!
OMG!! We picked a great night to visit Cookies and Creme. It's Shake Night! The shakes are delicious!! And the owners were super friendly!!
