I liked burrito gallery. Before it became something it isn't. I liked to build my burrito to order. (Like subway) but with the new location.... it appears they were trying to become a bar that serves mex food... but it seems they neglected the most important aspect. The food. My wife and I came in to escape to heat. And ordered drinks. Her (Sprite) I ordered a sweet tea. It tasted off... I only drank about a 3rd of the glass. I also ordered a burrito to go. Before I reached home I was very nauseous... and was violently sick.... After the nausea passed... and I'd cleansed my pallot... I wanted to put something on my stomach. So I ate the $12 burrito. Not only was it half the size as their previous. It was very bland. I couldn't differentiate the flavors of it's contents. The tortilla was pasty. I went looking for an old taco bell sauce packet... just to give it some flavor... I hope this isn't typical of burrito Gallery now. It was a n unpleasant experience. I don't think I'll be back...
I have often bragged that Burrito Gallery is the best Tex Mex in town, and that the Beach location is my favorite. But after today, I will have to reconsider. My co-workers and I ordered food today for lunch that totaled $53.00. All three orders were not up to the standard that Burrito Gallery has displayed in the recent past. All three orders were burnt, the meat was not fresh and things were actually missing from the order. (See pictures of the meals below)When my coworker contacted Burrito Gallery to inform them of the botched order, the manager Jackie seemed dismissive and uncaring. She stated that new cooks were being trained and that the only thing the restaurant could do was remake the order. Considering how bad the original orders were, we declined.I really love eating here, and the staff are awesome. Claudia in particular is always so sweet and nice. I truly hope Burrito Gallery turns things around soon.
Pretty darn good. Don't get the off menu avo-bean burrito. Stick to menu items. Huge portions. Very well made, fast, and friendly.Music clashed with decor (sorta sucked, ruined vibe). Very cool artwork, restaurant design, and uniforms/tshirts.Dogs can sit on patio with you.4½ stars
I had the BLT taco and my wife had the nachos, both were great. I mentioned to the manager how good the slaw was and she offered to get me more, that was nice of her. I definitely would recommend this location and will revisit when possible.
Staff were very helpful with dietary needs. Honey sriracha shrimp burrito was delicious, margaritas too. Loved the hot, fresh chips with guac.
Enjoyed the food. Plenty of food each serving. Staff was excellent. Matty was very special.
I absolutely loved this place! So much so, I didn’t even get to take any pics. I was hungry and the food was so good! The workers were friendly and I loved their big spacious patio. The salsa is fresh and pairs perfectly with the fresh tortilla chips. We had grilled shrimp tacos, brisket tacos, and old school nachos. Everything was on point! Full of flavor and very filling!
This was my 1st time to burrito gallery. Food was good service was decent. I did like the décor kind of felt like I was back in middle school with all the 80s memorabilia. Margaritas were pretty good and prices were fair. I will be back next time I'm in Jacksonville.
10/10! Food was absolutely delicious, as was the service! The two young ladies who had helped us were beyond amazing! If I recall correctly their names were Madison and Maddie. They worked wonderful together and were able to get us in and out in no time. They were efficient and beyond kind. Great job!
Usually pretty solid service. Food quality is excellent for a Burrito place. Really like the keto tacos where the tacos are formed from crispy cheese. Too bad they eliminated alcohol free beer from the menu.. was a regular before that happened... That is wonderful news!! Heineken 00? Even better!!
