Our new favorite breakfast stop in this area. They open super early, which is great and have awesome service and food. The eggs Benedict we're on point, the sauce was perfect and not too tangy. Homemade biscuits and the grits were the butteriest and creamiest I have ever had, superb. We ordered avocado toast, veggie omelettes, western omelettes and the eggs Benedict. Everything was great and served very fast. We will be back to try their other items!!
No complaints here, simply put, quick tasty and just what we needed to get out morning started off right. Food was great.
Stopped in on our way down to the keys and again on the way home. Fantastic food, the sausage gravy is to die for!
First time there and it didn't disappoint! Food was great! Loved the home like feel to the restaurant! Service was great! Food did not come out super fast but when everything is made fresh you shouldn't expect it to. Thanks for a great breakfast- we will be back soon!
We've been here twice already and every time it's a great experience. The staff is really nice, the food taste amazing. If you want a pops and mom's country style restaurant this is the place. Very inexpensive and great quality food. They're home style potatoes are amazing!!!! You'll thank me later. Don't let the location fool you, this place is a little gem in the country side.
The menu is diverse and promising but the food doesn't live up to the expectations...at all. The front of the place is labelled "Restaurant" and there's no doubt that this is a neighborhood institution and mainstay. I loved how descriptive the menu was and we ordered the shrimp and grits, Greek omelette, and the horseshoe burger on the "must try" written menu. We also ordered the cornbread because the sign in front of the restaurant lauded it as a homemade specialty. We waited over 40 minutes for the most lackluster shrimp and grits I've ever tasted. The shrimp was cooked blackened style with old bay, but the grits were the stuff of sawdust nightmare. It was dense and tasteless that no extra hot sauce, butter, salt, or pepper could revive. The horseshoe burger was a Texas toast topped with a beef patty and smothered with SOS gravy, and the flavor was as lifeless as it looked. While the staff was friendly and the tables were neat and welcoming, the food is not redeemable.
This place is amazing!!! The food is excellent. The staff & service were wonderful!! Our server, Gina, went above and beyond. This is the best cafe con leche that I’ve ever had. The portion sizes are big. The quality of the food is great. My husband got the chicken & waffles sandwich. Oh man. Huge portion & excellent flavor combo. They have a ton of staff - unlike the rest of the world that is short staffed! We’ve come here almost every day of our vacation. And I’ve also gotten another one their amazing cafe con leche to go! Gina is so friendly & gave us excellent recommendations on the food, drinks & even entertainment in the area. She was very attentive & kind. This is the best breakfast place! You will not be disappointed.
Great food! Excellent hollandaise. Yummy bombshell shrimp and grits. Waffles delicious. Too delicious looking to photograph before feasting.
AMAZING!! The omelets are on point! The service is delightful and inviting. Great to see a small restaurant with such exemplary service! You can visually see the teamwork and great customer service in action even during the peak times. Will make this a weekly visit in my calendar.
When you see all the locals eating at a restaurant that’s where you want to eat. Our breakfast there was so good-breakfast potatoes were just like home made. Good basic meals at a great price. Highly recommend.
