So I heard of this place and finally checked it out. It's a hole in the wall on need of severe remodel BUT the staff was courteous, service fast and the food was amazing and decent priced. Way better then cracker barrel, IHOP and waffle house. They have a big menu for breakfast so for that 5stars. I would say if your hungry for breakfast this is the best place to go....the coffee isn't terrible but needs workTwo people $27 well worth it
It is definitely a small hole in the wall restaurant. Don't be deceived by the appearance, it is totally worth it. The country frittata was so amazing! The gravy tasted so good and like it was homemade. They also had some of the best country fried steak I've ever had, even in the frittata plate. The only reason I left some on my plate was because of how full I was. I would come back here again.
Been going here for years, recently the atmosphere and hospitality has taken a turn for the worse. Highly do not recommend this place any more.Sad to see such a great place go down, this was the best American Restaurant in the area since I can remember. SAM'S COUNTRY KITCHEN IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET.
they skip us on the waiting list today and crossed us off then when i noticed people that came in after us were getting seated i ask why ang show her where she crossed my name off the list she smugly said oh... then she said it would take an hour to get another booth. so i ask if she could move the people that she seated that came in after us but she wasent willing to do that but she was willing to ask my disabled wife to sit in a chair thay would challenge her ability to stay seated and balanced.
If you like to work alone then Royal Palm Grill may be one of your favorite offices. The peach I had was well brewed, I'm sure their coffee is just as good but I think the tea selection is better. Unfortunately, I didn't order anything to eat but glancing at the menu made me think about the pricing and it can all add up pretty quick. Very spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Doesn't get too noisy so you can actually get work done.
So the location looks strange from the outside. It looks like a 1950s apothecary. As soon as you enter, you'll learn quickly it's a friendly diner. I came with a crew of 11 guys and they were able to accommodate us instantly. In addition, our food came out relatively quick. And it was all tasty (breakfast).I ordered the breakfast wrap with hash browns and a side of an English muffin. It was filling and tasty. Would definitely come back here after trying to find breakfast/brunch spots for hours (wait times are terrible out here)
Went there with my granddaughter on a Sunday afternoon. Parking lot was a crap hole. A little leary but had a gift certificate so decided to go in. Oh My! Went in through the back door signed in on a file folder ? Looks like they shut down the whole pharmacy to expand the restaurant. Don’t think they’ve updated since hurricane Andrew. Dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Whole place is falling apart. The place was so busy with take out orders so we decided to stay. Signed in and waited, I couldn’t believe they weren’t being bothered with actual customers. We went ahead and waited to be seated, service was good once they acknowledged us. Ordered a burger and kids chicken tenders meal. Thought the kids meal was for kids but it was the spiciest chicken tender ever for kids. Told the waitress but she just said “next time order the Dino nuggets.Ended up ordering an additional meal of pancakes. My Burger was decent enough (diner food). Staff was attentive but can’t get over the atmosphere. I just don’t know why this place is still in business. They need to shut down and spend some money updating. Will never go back!!!!
One would never guess from outside what a little gem of a place it is! Traditional American diner, very efficient service and brilliant food worth writing home about! We went there four times for breakfast at our recent trip to Florida and would go back there anytime. Highly recommended.
We loved it! That ‘old time’ feel with great food & service!! We liked our 1st visit so much we had 3 meals there during our 4 day stay!!
Used to come here all the time when i lived in the state. Glad to see there menu or there great taste didn't change for covid. I recommend the waffle.
