If you like waiting then this is the place for you! I ordered online for pickup at 5:35pm and I didn't leave until 6:25 because they deleted my order from their queue then decided to argue with me saying that I had just entered the store and wasn't waiting at the pickup location for 40 minutes. AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY FORGOT MY PLANTAINS. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $4 to have someone wait for you for delivery instead of doing it yourself. You won't get that hour back.
Previous visits lead me to drive out of my way tonight for this Pollo location but what a mistake. After waiting over 15 minutes at the speaker for a drive through order, the rep outside started taking orders at the end of the drive through line near Walgreens!!! Like what? Saying hello repeatedly, a few honks, no answer from her or the other coworkers outside. I drove ahead to the window and still NOTHING. I watched them talking back and forth, stacking cooked chickens, completely oblivious to anything else. I pulled away to avoid a verbal altercation. And I’ve been recommending this location. That’s done!!!!!
Pollo Tropical is a Miami establishment their food is good fast-food. In this particular PT the lines are soooooo long I rather drive a couple extra miles to the closest PT....but this day the line was not that long.....long story short. I asked for a WHOLE chicken and to my surprise my chicken had 3 breast (my least favorite part of the chicken) 1 wing NO legs my wife's fave no hip my favorite and 1 weird cut that included the tail. When I noticed it was too late to go back so open your shell container before you leave to check your parts......
Unbelievable I order a family meal and look why I receive, even the side half filled, missing 8 sauce this is not the first time , pollo tropical very bad service ????????
It was good I wouldnt say great. Chicken in the tropichop was a bit overcooked. They were extremely busy and doing the best they could. We went inside ti order because the drive through was insane as usual. I would recommend an additional cashier on a Friday night. Poor girl was slammed and was doing an amazing job! Of course we will be back? And sorry no pictures. We had to wait so long for our food that by the time we got home we devoured it before I even thought about a picture!
Extremely busy, yet the staff still manages to be polite about efficient. Pumping out orders with accuracy and speed. Keep up the good work.
I dont think I’ve ever received such a small portion of chicken before from pollo tropical. so many little crumbs. So disappointing
I Would order from here on ubereats and they would repeatedly mess up my order. I just recieved my latest order and they completely forgot the meat on both my bowls; its just rice and corn. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from here again. Avoid this pollo if you can.
Set the worst pollo tropical in South Florida. The line is always ridiculous at the drive-thru and they have somebody coming up to your car to take your order without a menu. So I just backed up and left because I like to read my menu and order whatever I want and don't want people walking up to my car getting all close to me. If you're going to do that at least prepared with the menu.
Not the cleanest place. Didn't have napkins available, all tables were dirty. We asked to dine in but they still put everything in to go containers, and bagged it up. All of the trash cans were overflowing. They didn't get half of the order right.This is the third Pollo Tropical location I've been to this month. They are all like this. It's amazing they stay as busy as they are...
