Muy excelente servicio , la comida saborosa . El bartender Noel muy agencioso en su servicio Muy buena piña colada. Lo recomiendo!

Like the place, the food is not fantastic. We ordered fried calamari and it seemed that it had been reheated. The tostones with shrimp.... ehhh not great.and extremely loud. Music is nice but when you're eating is for hearing. Not loud like in a bar.Unfortunately not coming back.

Wow what a terrible experience. From the wait staff that didn't speak English to the biting flies, this was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. No clear place to enter, nobody welcoming you. My wife and I ordered Margs which was really a glass of sours. The kids got juice, in warm bottles. We ordered food for the kids and some apps for us, but after finding out there was no conch and tasting the drinks I left $25 on the table for the glasses of sours mix and the apple juices and we left. Rude wait staff. Smelly environment. Horrible. Homestead and Key Largo have been great so far, but avoid this hole at all costs. ZERO STARS

The servings were large enough to take home for another meal. Our waiter was fantastic and very helpful. Ask for Enrique. The music was good too. Will be back to bring more friends. Thanks Enrique.

Let me start by saying that the seafood is not fresh and of quality. The shrimps and the mahi mahi were horrible and tasted old. Also, we ordered steak and it was full of fat and poor quality. They also tag a 15% service charge which they claim is not a service charge nor a tip, but a restaurant fee. I walked out of that place and paid $170.00 for the following: 1 pina colada which was bad, 1 margarita which was bad, 2 appetizers (at half off supposedly), 1 child's meal, steak and mahi mahi. The service was terrible too. Drinks were received one at a time and so was the meal. It is a shame because the view is beautiful. This place is a scam in regards to the food and service. And supposedly we went during happy hour that included the happy our prices. There was nothing happy about that hour. One more thing, I had the worst fish dip ever. How can you mess up a fish dip. It was chunky, old looking and just tasted like some type of creamy dressing with chunks of something (not fish) that could not be identified. The shrimp tostone's appetizer was a whole lot of tomato sauce with lots of onions and 2-3 baby frozen shrimps it which you had to dig deep into the onions to get to. I had forgotten why I had not been back here in 2 years. I will never visit this restaurant again. Next time I will buy my food and sit on the beach so that I can take in the views.

Visited La Playa after a day at Biscayne. Left pretty disappointed - mostly because of the service. Our waitress was really struggling with the English language and we had a lot of difficulty communicating back and forth. We ordered fried plantains that never arrived. We were never given an itemized bill and speaking with her was so frustrating, we didn't ask for one. When we got home, our credit card was charged over $90 when we expected it to be around $60. We're currently disputing the charge with our credit card company. The food was almost average. The location was very nice. It's unfortunate that this place is really the only restaurant that's convenient to Biscayne. Try to go somewhere else unless you're already hangry and can't wait to eat.

Food was good but just ok. Today I was windy so that took from the atmosphere. Cool looking beach pool. Service was good.

Slow service and whole red snapper had no seasoning. The black beans were great. We ordered 1 order of calamari it was golden and tasted good. Since our kids liked it, we ordered another one. When it came out, it was less n they were more brown than golden.

The servers and bartenders are not very attentive nor professional. The food is OK. I used to LOVE the sushi, but my most recent visit notified me that they discontinued selling it. So sad. The only reason I used to come. I do not recommend busy weekends bc it is too difficult just to get into the park and at times, impossible to get a table. I will try again bc I did like the location and ambience. Bring mosquito spray and patience!

Place is perfectly placed. Food's good but last time we went, mosquitoes ate us alive. They should really turn on those tiki flames sooner. Aside from that, I recommend this place
