I wasn't expecting much when we came here. All we knew is we wanted Cuban food. Casavana did not disappoint. We got a mixture of plates and they were all delicious. I got the masas de puerco, they remind me of carnitas michoacanas from most Mexican restaurants. The mojito sauce that came with the mariquitas was awesome and I would have put it on everything if I had the chance.

My husband is not a fan of ethnic foods but I told him I wanted to eat Cuban food for dinner. He loved it and suggested we came back the next day for their amazing breakfast. If that is 2 eggs I would hate to see the size of those chickens, huge portions and reasonably priced..

Frequently visit the area due to work. I've been tempted to try this place and finally did. Went for dinner and ordered the Cuban sandwich. It did not disappoint. Portions are are generous and the flavor is authentic. I also got a cafe con leche togo.... otherwise i woudve ordered some arroz con leche. Maybe next time.I read a few reviews concerning customer service. Honestly its not so bad. Immediately seated and my order was taken not too long after. For those who don't want to dine in, they do have a takeout window you can order from.

I enjoy Cuban food and the meals here are very tasty and well seasoned. Service is also fast!

I was in Homestead for work and went here for lunch. I have only had Cuban food a couple of times previous and have to say this is some of the best I have had. I had the Milanesa Chicken and it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked very well. The portion size was HUGE. It honestly is enough for two people. If you are in the area, I would recommend having a meal here!

Asked about a sandwich. Made it clear what I didn't want on it. Bartender ignored me. Asked about beer, he replied " bottles" sandwich came exactly what I did NOT want...he "mfed" that it was good. Asked for Bill. Couldn't print. Charged me 11.50 for for a beer (that was 9.23) couldn't get me a receipt. Then after I paid.. it came up. Asked for manager . He was cooking. Avoid the clip. And the bad svcservice.

We started with some mariquitas with mojito sauce. Then I had one of their house favorite, vaca frita with congril and Maduro and my husband had a palomilla. Both plates were enormous so we had leftovers ?

Everything we are was delicious. The skirt stake was cooked to perfection. The tostones relllenos was probably my favorite. The staff wasn't very friendly. But the food was excellent.

Ordered to go and paid (including a nice tip) via the website. After arriving to pickup the food I was made to wait several minutes while the 4 employees behind the counter ignored me and socialized, after a couple attempts to get my food I was finally successful. The order was incomplete despite ordering online to avoid mistakes and tipping nicely to ensure the order is checked and packed properly. I called to let them know but was put on hold and again was treated poorly. I eat here about once a week but I believe I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Had dinner here on 12/10/2021 and it was delicious! We had mariquitas with mojito sauce that was a 10/10. (Unfortunately I had a gluten response because I'm sure these are fried in shared oil.)My palomilla steak was so big it was hanging off the plate and it was delicious. My husband ordered pork that was supposed to be served in a sauce according to the menu, but it arrived sauceless and he said it was dry.We each had a coffee and overall, it was a really delicious meal.
