Servers were amazing but we had fruit flies all over our table the whole dinner. Chicken was undercooked
The best beef carpacio in Hollywood! New York steak is also delicious! Food and service top notch! A nice place to date or just to hang out with live music.
Great food, great service, great music
First of all Iâd like to say donât bother making a reservation they donât honor them walk-ins and reservations are equal to them we arrive there wasnât a table available we were told we have to sit outside Second the water that they gave us which was in a bottle which would make you think that they had some sort of purification system before they put the water into this resealable bottle horrid the worst tasting water Iâve ever had when I brought this to the attention of the waiter all he wanted to do was sell me bottle water flat or Pellegrino so we ordered a Coke $3.95 for a 12oz can he brought the ice on the side but the ice tasted perfectly fine so whatever they were using to purify the water should be looked at. We order Carpaccio as an appetizer it was good wasnât great a fair size portion waiter never came out and asked if we liked it or didnât and by the way we waited almost 15 minutes until the waiter showed up to take the order in the first place no one cleared the appetizer plates the main course arrived with the food runner we had to pick up all the appetizer plates and hold them while he put down our main course and give him the dirty plates I ordered spaghetti and meatballs the same thing I order every time I go to the Italian restaurant for the first time I want to know exactly how good their meatballs are these meatballs were terrible Hormel frozen meatballs taste better they had no flavor the consistency was rubber spaghetti sauce was terrible had no flavor had to add salt and Pepper just to get some taste to it I can honestly saying never can remember the last time I had to season pasta sauce my friend ordered FETTUCINE GENOVESE he substitute the shrimp with chicken chicken was dry and rubbery the sauce had a good taste during the entire meal the waiter never ever ever came back out and asked was everything OK did you like the food is there anything I can get you it was like we didnât exist service was horrendous was terrible
The food was tasty! The gentleman who ran the food was great. The singer we loved he said he was the busser do not know if we believe him or not. But our waitress spent so much time talking to the bar tender and lady in the sequin dress that it really made for a bad experience. It took over 15 minutes just to get water and they weren't even busy. We did see other waiters working much harder so hopefully you would not have that experience and we did enjoy the food.
The food is delicious and the waiters are polite, professional and fast. The atmosphere is fantastic. We loved it and we will be back soon! Try the romanian donuts for desserts, they are amazing. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of them! :)
We went to experience Romanian food and everything was good and great service too.
This was our first time here. We ate outdoors in the front. Our waiter was excellent and very accommodating. He brought out a carafe of water and a basket of delicious bread while we were waiting for one more person in our party to arrive. We asked for suggestions on the Romanian menu. We tried the Salata de Vinete, an eggplant appetizer which was very tasty. For the main course, two of us ordered Pasta dishes (Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Fettuccine Genovese) from the Italian menu. The shrimp on both dishes were plump and delicious and the fettucine cooked perfectly. We throughly enjoyed them. One of us tried the traditional Romanian Goulash which was described as "a traditional beef stew". He found it a bit salty and was surprised to find that it had chorizo in it, which he is not a fan of (but ate anyway). He thought the description should have been more detailed. Portion sizes were generous on everything we ordered. We had no room for dessert! We would definitely go back Villa Romana again and try other items!
You must go here! Food and service is top notch. The real star is the gentleman who sings! It’s amazing. He sounds like the original artist, no matter the song. Definitely check it out. It will be a great night!
Great Italian meal in Charleston. The upstairs was a little noisy moving chairs around but other than that, great ambiance and great food!
