We were celebrating a bride to be over dinner! Our waitress was so kind and brought out a special dessert and drinks on the house. The chocolate moose was incredible!!
I gave it 3 stars.. because of the location. Sadly I been to this restaurant prior Covid for brunch & service was bad then. Food is very simple & bad presentation. I decided to go here as we had a last minute dinner with friends in town. Thinking has improved & for the view, we decided to go, But no! Service is bad because bad management⦠not everyone has a role or know what to do. Maybe trainable waiters, they donât know what to do or process of food service. Tables were messy (including ours, everything was left on the table) we ordered a bottle of wine, we only received 2 glasses. We got 2 more guess arrived never asked if they wanted anything to drink. We ordered another bottle & bread-we received wheat toast & dirty glasses. LOL Didnât know who was my waiter, because too many ppl around but not really picking up tables or asking anything. Probably going thru staff changes. (Hopefully including management) Food was mediocre⦠felt like pre-made & warmed on microwave to served. Definitely this is NOT an Italian restaurant/prices does not even justify the taste/flavors of food & service. We paid $50 valet to go have dinnerâ¦.would be worth it if at least the food taste good, was worst taste than an chain Olive Garden restaurant. I wouldnât go back⦠this experience is like ordering lobster pasta at a cafeteria in hialeah. Change the menu⦠make it a cuban restaurant & present it better, might be worth it having a âhigh endâ Carme con papá! (No pictures taken, not worth it)
Timing was terrible took 15 minutes to get drinks in an empty restaurant and overcooked food waiter was nice and courteous but experience for the $ was terrible
Food was excellent. Had the Calamari for an app, followed by the Tuna Steak and the Braised Short Rib. The Calamari was piping hot and very fresh. It was crisp and clean, with a lovely sweet & slightly acidic marinara dipping sauce. The Tuna Steak was a solid choice, with the star of the dish being the sweet potato purée and sweet soy sauce. The Braised Short Rib was tender, with the star being the red wine reduction. I would have done shots of the reductionâ¦. It was really that good. Only thing I would change⦠it was very expensive for what it was. Itâs all about location on the beach⦠but we sat inside, which has only views of the rooftop pool. The laid back, comfy, and modern dining room really looks like it should be a lower price point. I know that prices and inflation are crazy at the moment, but $140 for a /single soda, a 20 oz Perrier, an app and two entrees was bit more than I would have liked, considering the ambiance of the place. Overalll, excellent food.
This was my second time having Brunch and Terrazas. We had the same exact table and the same exact serverâ¦Jairo. He was amazing both times. Very attentive and friendly! Customer service is his forte and it shows. The food was delicious. Oysters are always my favorite, but the prime rib was a favorite for my group. I canât wait to visit Terrazas again.
This is a nice open-air restaurant on the 9th floor of the Hyde Resort. It's extremely pricey! Not surprising, being in a hotel. The mahi sandwich was delicious. It was also very windy! Apparently it always is. We won't be returning on this trip because of the prices, but food, drinks, and service were good.
The food was really good. We try all de apetizers. The restaurant was full and the waitress forgot one of the orders, but it wasnât that bad.
As a local hollywood resident I am very disappointed. The food was bland poorly made with low quality. The valet service is over priced and was just terrible. We waited 15 min just to pay then I had to walk to get my own car after paying for valet. Almost missed my reservations. The only positive experience was the service. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I would not be going back and advising all my friends the same. Very overpriced and not worth it not one bit. I was hoping hollywood would bring some good restaurants to the area.
Service was a bit slow at first, took a while to get drinks and orders in, then it improved. Food was very good, music was a bit loud.
Empanadas were excellent, as was the Peruvian dessert (mousse) they had. Tuna was ok, Cuban sandwich bread was excellent but the rest of it was just ok.
