Staff was friendly, food was good but the tacos had barely any protein (had the steak taco) but I could tell the bowls were more bang for the $. Store was realllllllly dirty. Counter where register is dirty tables not cleaned floor also dirty. Also the arroz con leche didn’t taste right maybe the heavy cream they used, or it may be on the verge of spoiling. Pls side they have real Mexican soft drinks and they are awesome.
I ordered a steak burrito and chips and guacamole ? last Friday. I have no complaints. The burrito ? had a tasty and unique flavor and the nacho chips were fresh and lightly salted (my preference). The facility appeared to be clean and the staff was nice. Their menu is short n sweet so I recommend this place if you are craving Mexican food and just want a quick bite.
Food portion was small. It's like no effort was put in it. Taco had 2 bites of fish and sauce over it that's it! My rice and beans on the side was a joke like for a toddler in a small ice cream cup. Rice was cold and hard you can tell not fresh. Walked in and said I was a first timer. No welcome to our facility nothing. Didn't seem like they cared. My $10 meal was the size of a snack portion you give kids in day care. Nothing like the photos you see online. I hope they do better and succeed but I'm one and done. Tijuana Flats across the street offered way more and better quality and value.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. TERRIBLE customer service. Back story: I work in the same plaza so we send them a lot of customers. Two young boys, one took his time very very slowly to make a burrito for me and had headphones on the whole time. Took his sweet time preparing the food. It takes 30min to get a burrito that costs $14 with no chips or soda included. Their menu was confusing to me so I did not realize the steak in the burrito came with corn and onions.When I realized came back, they did not want to make me a new one because the menu said it had corn and onions..... As a person who works at a business who sends them LOTS of profit, I can't believe they didn't just offer to make me another one. Basically two teenagers running this because manager was not present, overpriced, takes FOREVER to receive your food (all my coworkers have complained about employee taking too long to make the food). Don't waste your time or money here. Terrible experience. They ended up making me another one but I had to ask 3x.
I was recommended to come here by the people at my gym. My experience wasn’t good. The staff there were rude to me and unwelcoming. They were even making fun of me. I don’t know if it was because I was fresh out the gym but I live pretty far so I couldn’t change before entering the restaurant however I did look presentable. That actually really upset me because I’m going through hard times right now but to have people make fun of me doesn’t help. I walked out with watery eyes because I wanted to cry from the treatment I got. The next issue I had was that you don’t get a lot for your money. I thought I was purchasing a meal but ended up with just two tacos which are smaller than my hand (I have small hands) but paid meal price and they were just tossed in the box. I gave it two stars because the food tasted good, it was just the service I’m mainly upset about.
This incredible hidden gem has some of the most delicious tacos I’ve had in South Florida. The ingredients are very fresh and the combination of ingredients used in the tacos are perfect!Loved the fish taco and the pulled bbq pork!
SO GOOD. SO SO SO GOOD. The fish tacos are absolutely amazing. The homemade tortillas make such a huge difference. Excellent service and an awesome environment. Highly recommend it.
Good family-owned vibe. My only suggestion would be to not cook the meat as long as it resulted in dry pork. Flavors are good though with fair prices. I like the variety of sauces but beware the hot. I like heat but this is pure mouth burner without much flavor. Enjoyed the smoky chipotle medium sauce much more. We'll go back to try other dishes. You should too.
This has become mine and my hubby's favorite taco spot! We tried the steak, chicken, shrimp and lamb tacos, quesadillas, and rice bowls and they've all been delicious!!! We've eaten here over 20x now, and every time the ingredients have been fresh and the taste has been on point!
Food is excellent! Falafel tacos and Mushrooms tacos are superb! Fresh! Place is starting out and some hiccups with service and drink options, but hopefully it works out, because the food is a welcomed alternative to the usual food spots in the area. Hats off to the chef!
