I generally like Pollo Tropical, got my lunch from there two to three times a week. For the first time I decided to try out their Shrimp Devicne Bowl that I saw on the advertising board as I drove up to the drive through. I was very disappointed with what I got. What was advertised on the bowl looked very appetizing and that’s what drew me to order it. What I got was nothing comparing to what was advertised. I was very disappointed and felt deceived.
I think that I have feathers growing from my back!! I love Pollo Tropical! Theirs is the only chicken that I can eat and not worry about my blood pressure. The chicken is tasteful and never salty. I, also, love that I can get brown rice instead of white rice. The food is served hot every time.I went through the drive thru. Pollo Tropical is usually busy so I'm not surprised when the line is long. They will at least send someone out to take orders. So that when you get to the window all you need to do is pay for and pick up your food. The worker taking the order is generally friendly, patient, and professional.I will continue to visit at least once a month, sometimes more.
On June 4, 2022, I was left to wait in a line for over half an hour. Even as I got to the speaker box to place my order, no one responded. Nor were any of the women at the drive thru window aware of how many people were waiting until I spoke to one of them on foot and placed my order, only to also find that no order was taken at all.
Their food was fresh and they took my order correctly. I had 3 difficult orders because I was ordering food for my mother and uncle due to their health issues certain food can not be consumed. Also, I made the orders all white meat ?.The servers were nice and ensure that our brown rice was fresh.
As always, the food was hot fresh and delicious. Service was a little slower than normal quite possibly because it was later at night and they may have been short a little bit on staff. But overall great experience and really nice courteous staff.
Slow drive thru, but they tried to expedite by having person outside to take orders. Food was the hottest and freshest I have ever had there!! Order was correct. Great customer service too.

Made an order for pick up. Nothing was ready. When I finally got someone’s attention, they told me I had to give the give the name before they would make it. What’s the purpose of ordering ahead. Then, they didn’t have cookies for the kid’s meal and offered corn or bread instead. Really? No apologies and customer service was below standards
just horrible! I ordered online to pick up in store, when we arrived to the store the door was locked. No employee came to the door to acknowledge I had an online order that was placed. The drive through line was ridiculously long. If it wasn’t for me paying already and having a hungry toddler I would’ve just drove off. This location is just horrible. horrible horrible horrible. I’m upset I have to give them one star.
Do not waste your time or money here. Ordered on 3/12/22 via online app. Stated it was complete at 4:32pm. Did not receive my food until 5:07p. Woman was in the back handling raw chicken without washing her hands or changing gloves touched cooked chicken and vice versa. The customer service here is absolutely abysmal as you are not acknowledged and it was chaos due to nobody having there orders correct or completed at all! I will never eat here again. Horrible experience!!!
