This long standing homestyle cooking restaurant still has the touch. This location I think is the last one standing. The food is still very good, tasty just like grandma's and mom's house. The different varieties of meat from pork to fish was fresh, and nothing was bland. Seasoned so well. Vegetables and amazing desserts and fresh salads. This cafeteria style line up is great because you don't sit down and order and wait for your food. The meals are priced equally to the portion of the food you get. The floor waiter was super nice and very attentive. The only thing is the restaurant was warm. The AC was not sufficient for the heat. Especially on the large family room.
It's just average...First time at this establishment. Food was ok, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great, a little cold. Staff was friendly, and dinning area fairly clean, the outdated carpet MUST GO, it has that slight moldy smell to it. I smelled as soon as I entered. I feel $40 for lunch for two, to be a little steep, however we did leave full and with a to go box.
Love the food, sometimes some of people serving the food aren't that friendly but, the people that come to greet you at the table are very warm and welcoming. It's a place I go for family memories some Aunts and Uncles have passed. When I'm home visiting its a place I well eat at a least a couple times. I hope. Clean, always a place to sit. SOME of the server may not be friendly but thy aren't rude that don't do their job. I don't like to write this. I guess maybe more patience with people. I guess is what I what I'm saying. He didn't know what he can get fast enough. The guy in front of me his first their. I will continue and tell everyone to try Piccadilly out I love the food.
Piccadilly's is a great place to meet. The restaurant is always clean. The tables are cleaned promptly so that patrons can be seated immediately. The floors are kept free of debris. The restroom is well stocked with supplies, and is clean and fresh. The servers and hostess are super friendly and professional. The hostess is top of the line. She serves with class and a smile. She makes sure everyone has whatever they need. She brings your tray to the table if you need help. She makes sure that you have straws, napkins, and take out trays before you even request those itemsThe food is great. I love the varied selections; sometimes it's hard to choose! The food is hot and fresh. It's also not heavily seasoned. The cornbread is the best. The desserts are plentiful and fresh. The serving area is kept clean and organized.Overall, Piccadilly's is an excellent place to meet for good food and fellowship. The atmosphere is great for families to enjoy southern homestyle cooking. I highly recommend at least one visit, but be prepared because once is not enough!!
Cafeteria style that brings me back to the great 80s when these places were common. The food is good, nothing spectacular but perfect for a fairly affordable sit-down or takeout experience. No alcohol fyi. Overall pretty fair on cleanliness. Decor is aged but has a grandma's home feeling which is fitting for the area and style of restaurant. I definitely recommend trying if your looking for an affordable meal. I almost forgot the best part.... The employees were so nice. One guy kept coming around to make sure we were happy.
Definitely a winner! I lived in Texas for years many years ago. We used to go after church all the time so I was excited to see there was one in the area we were in.I wished I could have ordered one of everything. Everything was delish. The chicken fried chicken was cooked just like Japanese chicken katsu (iykyk). The chicken had a jalapeño gravy that was surprisingly yummy! Definite lot will be back the next time we visit the area!
Good home made meals. Nice portions. Good value day special
The portions were satisfactory. It's super spacious so every table is fairly separated. Wide variety of choices in quinine and delicious. No complaints.
Ordered the Carrot Soufflé to go for Thanksgiving, absolutely delicious. Customer service was great ! I just called to make sure they have it year-round, and indeed they do. Thank you!
They have to be paying for reviews. Because this is hospital food. Bad hospital food! Weirdest Mac and cheese I’ve ever seen. Had thick white mush in it like it was made with mashed potatoes. The rice was so overdone it had a gel like texture. Maybe this is prison food because I feel punished.
