Ordered an XL pizza at 7:30 pm and didn’t receive the pizza until 9:00 ice cold. We called to complain for them to try and give us 3$ off for our “next” order. Needless to say we told them to politely shove their 3$ where the sun doesn’t shine. Honestly 40$ for this quality is just incredible. How disappointing. Will never recommend this restaurant smh.
I’ve been going to Mauros for years. This place has New York style pizza (I know because I used to live there) You can fold it like a proper NY slice, or eat it with a fork and knife if you’re into that sort of thing. There are just a couple of tables to eat at outside, so I wouldn’t recommend taking a date here. It’s suited more for carry out or a quick lunch. It’s also open late night and it’s absolutely the best “after the bar” meal you are going to have in Hollywood.Disclaimer: I’m still gonna give them five stars, even though the mushrooms are canned.

I really enjoy pizza and Mauro's has that NY style, not cooked on conveyor belt so you get that crispy bottom with the right balance of cheese and sauce. I like to add a bit of oregano.We always get the extra large and sometimes I can save a slice for the next dayIt tastes great out of the oven but if you're going to eat it at home you should reheat to enjoy it the way it is meant to beWarning the extra large with two toppings runs about $30 but they will cut it in 8 slices and you will need two boxes to bring it homeNext time I will take pictures if I remember to bring something to measure it

Largest slices of pizza I have ever seen! Decent tasting without being greasy. It's basically a pizza carry out and delivery place. No full menu but their kind of pizza is all that's necessary!
I think it might be a new owner....the sauce is different...sadly to say it taste like tomato paste. I wish they would use fresh mushrooms too. They look like mushrooms out of a can. Overall the pizza is ok...for the price the expectation is a little higher.

Enough is enough. I've been coming to this place for over a decade and the quality has significantly plummeted in recent years. I've always recommended this place to friends/family, but no more. I just cannot do it anymore with a clear conscience.To whoever owns this joint: Never again are you going to charge me $30 for an XL pizza where almost 1/3rd of a slice is crust, paper thin, and super dry. Also, your staff does not know how to keep the pizza warm near the ovens until the costumer arrives. My XL pizza became cold within 10 minutes of me picking it up and bringing it back to my house to eat. You can have your snooty signs hung up behind the counter about how you don't have this and don't ask for that. Cool, but at least serve some decent pizza. This is completely and utterly unacceptable.I will never be returning. You all have joined the rest of society with how low quality everything and everyone is these days and won't be getting another dime from me after I've spent hundreds of dollars here.
I accidentally ended up at this place a few nights ago with my mother, the pizza is average but my goodness the slices are huge!
