My husband and I attended the Hollywood Pride Festival on Jan 22nd. The streets were shut down and thousands of people were walking the streets partaking in the DJs and vendors. We walked by Los Tacos. It was completely empty…inside and outside. So we decided to sit at one of the patio tables for a while. Of course we never would have sat at their table had it been crowded as I wouldn’t want to take the table away from paying customers. But since the entire place was empty I didn’t think it was a big deal. We sat down and no more than 30 seconds later this psycho woman with a thick Spanish accent walks out and says, “I just cleaned that table. Now I have to clean it again!" She didn’t welcome us, she didn’t take our order, she didn’t even say hello. I looked at her and said, “Well isn’t that your job?” She said “Only for paying customers!” I said, “But there are no customers here.” She said, “The owner told me to come out and tell you to leave.” So we stood up and walked away without ANY confrontation. I calmly said, “Ok we’ll go someplace else to sit.” Later that evening on our way to the car we walked past Los Tacos. The same woman RAN out of the restaurant, put her cell phone in our face and yelled, “I TAKE PHOTOS OF YOU RUDE PEOPLE!!” We were like, “HUH???” So we turned around and walked the other way trying to defuse the situation. She ran around us and tried to stop us from walking. She had her cell phone in our faces yelling, “I TAKE YOUR PICTURE AND SHOW PEOPLE HOW RUDE YOU ARE!!!” I got so angry I smacked the phone out of her hand and yelled back, “Get that goddam phone out of our faces!!” To which she started screaming, “I CALL POLICE. I CALL POLICE!!” And she ran away screaming. Is this lady for real???? Maybe that’s why there were thousands of people walking around and NOBODY was at Los Tacos.
Wow! I haven’t experienced such vicious homophobia at a Gay Pride event in many years! The owner of Los 3 Tacos made us get up from her table on the sidewalk and told us we couldn’t order from her restaurant! No wonder there was not one single person in her restaurant! And it’s literally right inside the Gay Pride event! Obviously she had made everyone else leave who might have wanted a taco. And then she chased us away and said she was getting the police!
I give them 2 stars because is located in a hot enjoyable place.. Chips and Salsa.. I liked.. very much different.. To me it was over priced.. my burrito was dried.. No way.. and drinks hello.. Sorry no refills.. It feels is.more like a pick the food and go..
I think the other reviews may have given this place too much credit. Yes flavor is nice on some items but a little overpriced for the portions. Also the meat to my carne asada burrito was dry.
Dry burrito to me.. No refills on drinks so sorry if you get a dry burrito, Like a wrap instead. defenetly need a refill.. Somewhat pricey for what you get sorry... Good chips and salsa and good Elote..
If you are into Mexican style food with incredible flavor and taste, tres tacos is the place! I was happily surprised as a frequent visitor of Downtown Hollywood, the tacos where perfect, for some the tacos may be on the smaller side, but the combination of 3 different ones, made up for the size, the burritos were very good and taco salad was outstanding.. very affordable prices food for 4 , was less than $ 70 including drinks… Another great place to frequent and continue visiting..
We passed by this cute little place when we walk our dogs several days until we decided to give it a try. I ordered a carne asada torta and my husband ordered three carne asada tacos. The food was good but we felt a bit disappointed when the carne asada (steak) used was ground beef. Overall, very tasty food, average price for the area, good customer service, but wish the carne asada was actually pieces of steak instead of ground beef. We want to come back and try their other options.
They know me, I'm the guy that walks a minute away to get some of the best tacos and drinks in town. Sorry for the photo but couldn't wait to demolish these tacos before writing this review.
Just ate for the first time the Chicken Boritto. It was AMAZING. The rice is perfect mixed with the proper combination of the beans and herbs. Great place. Definitely will be back.
