Had one of the worst experiences ever at Joe's pizza & pasta on Taft and University tonight. Not only was my order wrong when I got there but when I finally got the right one the salad was put on the got food and the lid on chicken francois was not put on right so all the sauce was in the bottom of the bag. Thank goodness it was in a big plastic bag so it wasn't all over my car.
The food and the service are absolutely amazing! Danny is so attentive and friendly. Everyone working there is so pleasant. There is nothing I have tried that I have not liked, the food is great!
This place is SOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!!PIZZA is great and calamari is super goodPasta dishes were huge and the sauces are DELICIOUSMy one problem though, when you get a pasta dish with chicken(like Alfredo or penne Vodka) instead of a cutlet, you get these little chicken chunks that seem like they came from a can.If my review was based on the chicken it would be an easy 1 star review. But if it wasn’t for the chicken this would’ve definitely been a 5 star review
By far the best pizza in town! The doe is mastered and incredibly thin and still holds up to sauce and toppings! The garlic breads are the bomb; order them with a side of pink sauce(you will be glad you did)! The clam and linguine in white sauce is incredibly simple but yet over delivers in flavor! Everything comes out hot!
What an amazing restaurant. Our servers were very friendly and on point with refills and general help. The garlic rolls were amazing; probably the best I've had. Had the Pasta Combo; nice, large portion that was great all the way through. The Minestrone soup was also very good. Pizza was fabtastic as well. Overall really loved the place and can see myself coming back many times.
I like their pizza, but this time I ordered the lasagna. It was gooooood! And the rolls were super soft. There small but that's ok for me. And the food is still reasonably priced.
The food was amazing, everything i had. The garlic rolle crispy yet soft and airy. Loved it.
The food was alright. I would recommend staying away from the spinach as it is frozen and not fresh. Their garlic rolls are 5/5 though.
Great service decent prices. The pizza was ok. The garlic bread was good but it was drenched in oil and butter and the mozzarella sticks were good. As a pizza lover I'd rate their pizza no more than a 3!
Post pandemic shut down Joe's was where my kid wanted to have his birthday dinner. The staff I mean everyone was wonderful and the food divine... such a wonderful place I'm so glad they are still doing so well. The prices are still reasonable and food is delicious beyond delicious ? go makensome memories and eat great food! We have been customers for ten years.... my brother's family lives near them and they have been customers even longer... very clean and pretty walls with picture of Italy and nice decor... enjoy ?
