What a disappointment from waitress to food, so sad because we walked in with such high hopes since it came recommended so many times by multiple foodies. The service was pretty lacking and slow.Only 1 type of hot tea is offered - "green tea" really just matcha powder stirred in hot water - they must've spooned too much for the amount of hot water in tea kettle - it was very fishy. The "iced green tea" was just the same powder in hot water in a tall glass by the time the tea arrived at my table the ice had completely melted and was cold on top 2" layer and hot after that, needless to say disappointing!Ordered apple juice for the kids, pretty standard. The seaweed salad was a hefty portion. The tuna nachos were okay - the tuna waa delicious but the wontons werw greasy and soggy. The garlic bok choy was over cooked, soggy and bland, absolutely terrible. The salt and pepper squid was another complete waste of money and incredibly horrible, it was rubbery, flavorless and greasy AND it doesn't even come with a dipping sauce to help with flavor. The kids really enjoyed the dumplings and kids menu sushi - it came with a mountain of fried rice that was really just rice and scrambled egg mix with soy sauce. Was absolutely disappointed and unfortunately won't be coming back.
I called to place an order. Do to allergies I asked 2 questions. The woman said “I don’t know” I asked can you please ask someone and she said NO, no one knows!!! No one can tell me if you put fish in the miso soup nor if you can put paper down to make an avocado roll (to be fish allergy safe). So rude and no help. If you require a special diet…this is not for you! PS these are the same requests I have at all Japanese restaurants and I have never had a problem. So much for trying someplace new.
Sushi was fresh and delicious! All the food with the raw fish was fresh and tasted great. The Skirt Steak was tender and the sauce with it was delicious. The Brussel Sprouts was crispy and tangy.I go here often and it is always consistent. The table’s favorite was the Cucumber Lollipop. Call ahead if you have a big party.
I have been looking for the Japanese Shushi in Broward for exotic sashimi seafood(raw oysters) and SHASHIMI UNI from different region of USA for almost a year. Finally I have found a gem. the owner and staff are outstanding in personal services and friendly. Highly recommended.
Service and sushi rolls were spectacular! Everyone in our family group of seven were impressed with both. We went back a second time even though we were only in the area a few days, and it was consistently amazing both times
This place usually has wait line on the weekends if you have not made a reservation prior. My friend and I were lucky to get a table without reservation as some party cancelled ahead of us. So the ambience of this place is nice . We ordered hot night roll , spicy tuna, tuna tempura rolls. I would say this place is one of the best places for sushi. Service is quick and staff is friendly. If you are a sushi lover this a must try!
Very decent sushi shop with a wide delivery radius. Tried both sushis and orange chicken. The latter was fine but generally tasted like typical take out Chinese. The sushi were quite tasty however although the tempura was not at the same level as others.
Excellent service and top notch sushi. I had the Vegetable dumplings and imperial roll with spicy tuna and spicy crab salad . Most excellent. There was quite a line to get in but since I was single they put me right at the bar. Wonderful
For the last two years during the pandemic, I’ve been ordering Sushi ? from Imasa Sushi via Uber Eats. Last night, for the first time, a group of us went into the restaurant and had the best experience we’ve had at a Sushi place in years. We sat at the Sushi Bar and watched the seven Sushi Chefs do their magic. It was so much fun to interact with them and watch them make delicious culinary creations. I highly recommend this local Cooper City gem ? The owner is very philanthropic; he is a big supporter of the David Posnack JCC! My two favorite dishes are the Poke Nachos and the Dragon ? Roll!
