Best soul food around. Food is absolutely amazing. The customer service is even better. Warm welcoming family environment. Very personal, they will even remember your name. A must try restaurant for sure!!!!!
The food and drink is so delicious and I very highly recommend this restaurant, They have great customer service and the chef or cook knows what he's doing so come and eat and enjoy their very delicious food and drink
After my brother and I came back from our fishing trip, my brother suggested to get lunch to go from this restaurant. I had the wings and my bro got the fried pork chop. Overall the good was great. The wings, mac and cheese, and the baked beans was amazing. The pork chop was good as well. However, the corn bread was dry…. We also tried their Flops (lemonade and fruitpunch and lemonade and ice tea)—both drinks quenched our thirst! Recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hope they improve their cornbread—it would have garnered a five start rating if it was on point.
Ain't nothing on the menu nasty we drove all the way from Cutler Bay (Down South) to eat here and it was worth the trip we tried sundays eatery around the same amount of years as this place and they never lost the goodness in the taste of their food although sundays have good catfish fabulous food is always fresh and well seasoned and the dinners have a decent amount of food for the pricesNo long lines or long wait and AND it's very affordable meals me and my husband went with the meatloaf with a side of mac he had collared greens and I had candy yams listen when I say fi I mean FI I can say the corn bread could be served hot with honey and butter but other then that it's good yall I had to give it five stars

Absolutely fantastic food! I had the two smothered pork chops, with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. DELICIOUS!! I got a to-go box for a friend, smothered turkey over white rice with baked beans, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. I couldn't have made that potato salad any better myself. And the cornbread, oh!! Don't skip dessert, we had red velvet and lemon cake, both were fantastic. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. Every single employee is beyond friendly. The prices are on point! There will be a return visit in the very near future.
I wish I could give them two ratings. One based on food and the other on service. This is why I I gave them 3 stars. The food is really good and they are nice but it is hit or miss when they are open what they do or do not have. It’s not consistent. I wish them the best of luck and will keep supporting them. Hopefully this is just a bump on the road and they will recover
The food was good and the employees was so kind, sweet, respectful and understanding. BUT the place was very tiny living room vibes. I had to change my order 4x because they said they didn't have allot of the things I ordered. I don't know if they ran out of food or they just didn't want to cook it. I would recommend dine out food worth the taste.
We drove 45 minutes out the way to try this place out and they were closed when we got there! There was no note on the door or anything as to why they were closed on a day that they should have been open so we will definitely never visit this establishment again, they are extremely unprofessional and a waste of time!
They have good food but they are NEVER open according to their business hours. Its almost as if business hours solely depend on their Morning Mood every day ??♀️. I’ve tried calling first but they are HORRIBLE at answering the phone and sometimes it’s completely disconnected . There’s been times when I just attempt to eat there simply because i’m in the area so i’d call and call and it’ll ring and ring and ring some more and some more. Instead of assuming they’re closed i’d go by and they’d be wide tf open. They seriously need to get with the program or jump outta the program entirely!
