Been here multiple times before and had no complaints but today’s visit was disappointing. They have an American Chinese and in Chinese Chinese menu. Kung pao chicken was slimy, full of mushrooms (first time I’ve seen those in a king pao recipe), with barely any chicken. Wonton strips were gross and soggy too! (First time those have been so bad but worth mentioning). At least spring roll was good and someone else did enjoy their wonton soup. I should have stuck with just the fried rice which was ok. Pic attached to illustrate how everything else but chicken was in the kung pao. YMMV
It was a nice Saturday evening and as soon as you walk in the restaurant you're hit with these amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. Then when we were being seated in the restaurant we noticed it was full of Asian families sitting at the large round tables so I knew I was in the right spot for outstanding food. I wasn't disappointed. The food was flavorful served in large portions to share with everyone at the table and we also took home food. I loved it and I will be back because the menu has so many other dishes I would like to try, especially the seafood section which is a whole separate menu.
I've been to this place many times to Dine-in and the food has always been good. But, this time I ordered take out and the food was horrible. The broccoli in the beef broccoli was hard and the beef was like chewing on rubber. I also got shrimp lo mein and it was bland. Everything was tasteless, I threw it all to the garbage. I give it 3 stars because I've had better there. But the take out was disappointing.
Absolutely the best Asian restaurants of its kind! The Far East is on the map because of restaurants of this caliber. I don’t even eat chicken in public but I had to give General Tso chicken one last try and, let me tell you when I say redeemed in the best culinary experience eVer! The Lobster in cantonese sauce100/100 (could not contain my mouth from Salivating) i orderd 7 entrees all are SUPERB. Dragon city is in a league of its own not just in davie Florida but the whole of the United States of #America much #respect will return every darn time I’m in town
This establishment has stayed excellent throughout the years - have been going since 2005 and it's incredible I've never reviewed it. The remodel has only made the place more appealing. The food is always on point. The servers can be a bit rude and rush you to order. Don't think I've ever had a bad meal here, even the not so common for American palate options are delectable. It's a fine place to try authentic Chinese food, definitely give it a try!
Sorry to say this, your food used to be tasty but I just had a egg roll & it tasted like it was cooked in an smelly sock. The fried rice was below average in taste and the chicken wings appitizer was greasy &very fatty. Threw away food. Will be going back to the Pink Budda. They cook much better. You need better cooks, your restaurant went completely downhill.
Came here for my jobs Christmas party. Every dish that left the kitchen was so delicious. There chicken wings?!? *Chef kiss* will definitely return wished we took picture but once the food hit the table it was all gone. There were a party of over 20 of us and they hosted and served us very well. Had a great time. Will definitely return!
The food was tasteless and bbq boneless ribs were terrible and taste undercooked. We spent 80 bucks for wings ,lo míen etc and the food was horrible if I could give it 0 i would but I can’t do so it’s get a 1
good old-fashioned New York Chinese food made the right way
This place has the BEST Cantonese cuisine in all of Florida. I’ve been eating here for 4 years and the food has always been the best. The restaurant looks way better after they did a renovation. The food taste exactly like the food you would get if you when to a restaurant in China. Highly recommend this place to anyone that’s reading this review.
