Chwa Hollywood is definitely a vibe. From great food and good music, it's the place to be for brunch! I've been here twice and each time gets better. I had the chicken and red velvet waffles (pictured below) the first time and shrimp and grits my second time. Their lobster was good and flavorful, and I heard the salmon is good too. You can tell it's Caribbean infused because all the flavors are on point. I can't wait to come here during dinner to see what their dinner menu have in store ?.
I can’t lie! Foooood awesome ! Beautiful people ! I had Griot tacos,and a crack conch, great! Good seasoning, presentation nice. Everyone was nice! 1st time! The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life! The manager was so unprofessional and disrespectful! My waiter did not even put in my food order until an hour and a half later and then had the nerve to tell me and my table that the food had ran out!! horrible horrible horrible!!! Zero out of 10 would never recommend!!!

Make reservations. The DJ was good...the food was good and the vibe was good. I really enjoyed myself. I had the whole fried snapper with grits. The fish was well seasoned. My drink of choice was Mimi's punch. It was so good. You must visit if you like island food.
We came here on a Saturday night for a friends Birthday dinner. Very nice ambience. The food was delicious, although I was skeptical at first. The waiter was amazing taking care of so many patrons. The food took a while but we had our drinks and hookah to pass the time. I had the jerk chicken and Mimi punch, both awesome ❤️??. We appreciate the service!! Check them out.
Cons:They were setting up when I got there and there was no host to greet me. The waotress brought me water that had an old receipt in it. The waitress tried to make up for the mistake and did get me a new water glass but I wasn't going to drink anything at that point.Pro: The food was really good and the music was bomb. The Caribbean flavors were definitely there. The staff in general was great. The DJ is BOMB. He really improved how I felt.Summary: this may not be a family friendly place only due to the fact that there is loud music and hookahs. If you don't care about that it's fine. My food and my friends took about 30 minutes to get to us and food was hot and appeared fresh. This did not bother me because Haitian/Caribbean food does take some time to make even after it's prepared and this was fine with me. It appeared to be clean

I never right a review on the spot but everything about this place from the food to the decorations was a complete vibe. My girl had the griot and I got the jerk which both came out tasting amazing. I will say the food here is spicy but that exactly how I like it. The location is perfect I’ve been waiting for years for a place just like this one to be opened up. Best way I could describe it is old school Haitian Culture meets Modern Haitian American. Music from the live DJ was hitting to. I didn’t try but they have hookah here as well. I almost gave 4 stars because it did take a while for the food to come out but it could’ve been due to the place being busy at the time or worker shortage due to the pandemic.

Always takes good care of us.We ordered the Plantain Nachos with Buffalo Wings for appetizer. For Entree, we had the Complete Fried Snapper meal, along with the Griot. Seasoned and cooked to perfection.We definitely recommend this spot 100% to any and everyone visiting the South Florida/ Hollywood area. Won't regret it.Try it for yourself, you won't regret it!
