Finally I found a restaurant that has authentic Puerto Rican food inside and out Puerto Rican decor in Puerto Rican Service Puerto Rican staff Puerto Rican cook Puerto Rican delicious just like if you were on the island of Puerto Rico down to the music a great place to go to a little small but it was crowded and it was worth it. And good prices

I dont like to really leaves a review no where, i have been to that fancy mofongo Restaurant in Miami ( not too much savory and pricey) but to tell you here in Hollywood CASABORIQUEN price is very reasonable and savory is on point!! Great staff presentation and good music… Chuleta can can can go for more can can lol great taste the best. Pulpo salad amazing!! Mofongo doesnt need any sauce or dressing they come so good and juicy!! Pictures here !
I was disappointed I ordered Alcapurias de hueyes the dough was raw also had bistec encebollado the steak was very tough
I paid them a visit to their Hollywood location on May 5th, sat there of over an hour waiting for my carry out order, needless to say I never got my order, before leaving a requested a refund since I never got my order, their so called manage apologized about the mistake on my order, but refused to give me a refund, here it is more than a month later.. Ripp Off never gave me refund, and this is how they choose to conduct business
First time here. Ambience was good, very cozy. Place was clean. The staff was friendly. Food was very good, so flavorful and fresh. It was a shame they run out of alcapurrias that day.
Ordered for curbside had to pick up inside, why have that option if you’re not going to do it, food is super expensive for what it is, my maduros were burned keep trying this place and it disappoints more and more all the time…Update Thanks for your Snippy answer, as it didn’t let me answer back yes prices spiked for food that is worth it and good not burned and for good restaurants and yes I did call and know how to follow instructions Sir/ Ma’am also answered on the app which if it’s worthless then take it down or fix it. Food had a good taste, but we were extremely disappointed that the Gandulas soup had NO GANDULES!!! And I paid for extra chicarron in my Mofongo. I had NONE!!!!when I asked the young lady, she said the cook stated it was sooooo finely ground up, I may have not tasted it....LMAOOOOO.....at least it was seasoned nicely.
We went to order a Grilled Chicken Salad and alcapurrias. On the menu they advertised the BC Salad for $7.95 including grilled chicken. Under the descriptipn it said "Add Grilled Chicken" for $5.95. I asked the girl taking the order and she was not aware of that. She asked the other girl, I believe she was the Manager, and was surprised as well of the error. I asked her to honor the price advertised and she refused. We were so upset and decided to leave. I will never go back. Those are bad advertiment and Customer Service practices. Shame on my own heritage. My evidence is in the picture I took. See below. Thanks.
If you in the Hollywood area please stop by Casa Borinquen. This place is popping. Service was amazing, the food was Great. My kids loved it. Thank you soo much I enjoyed it. Plus the guy that was there was amazing thank you. I definitely will return. ❤️??
