One of my favourite cafes! If I could give 10 stars, this would totally deserve it. Quality food, good coffee, engaging staff, clean and fresh interior, fantastic music, chic and tasteful interior!! MUST VISIT this Cafe, you will not regret it!!
This is my favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a good book. It's cozy and I love that it's not as chaotic and crowded as other coffee shops like Starbucks or Dunkin. The empanadas are delicious - they even have vegan options, which is greatly appreciated! Their coffee is affordable and we always get great service here. Buddies is the best!

Wow. Wow wow. Came in to buddies for some coffee and once I saw the display with all the food I had to try. It was honestly the best empanada I ever had in my life and I love empanadas. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow morning. Btw. The guy at the counter (juan) was super helpful and nice. Definitely recommend this place.

I go here all the time!! The employees are very attentive and knowledgeable, and the food is amazing!!Edit:I just had the smoked salmon and arugula bagel!! Absolutely delicious, I will definitely be ordering this again. I also get the iced caramel macchiato with almond milk all the time here, and its delicious!! The prices are similar to starbucks but the quality of the food and coffee is SO MUCH BETTER!! The owner is almost always there with a smiling face, and I have never waited more than 5 mins before someone was taking my order. I really love this place!! Thank you again for wonderful service!
The empanadas were a hit with the family... loved that they were labeled. We ordered meat, chicken, ham n cheese, and Cuban. Can't wait to try the spinach and other fillings. I tried a Cuban empanada and it was a great take on the sandwich. The alfajores (South American shortbread type cookie) were melt in your mouth with also an assortment of flavors. The bitcoin chocolates were cute and oh so yummy.

Chicken empanada was my favorite. The guava and cheese was in second place.This was a cute spot I happened upon while in the area. Staff was really nice and patient while I made up my mind about which empanadas to get. The inside was very neat clean and had really comfortable decor. I'll go back when in the area for another empanada.
Wow! Happened upon this place purely by luck as we were walking by. Julio greeted us so very warmly and guided us through our menu. My husband ordered the breakfast special of three absolutely delicious empanadas and a cappuccino. The empanadas were served piping hot and bursting with flavour. The Italian was spot on with the sun dried tomatoes, the Cuban was on the mark with the pork and cheese, and the omelette was creamy and light. The cappuccino rivalled a coffee shop offering. My smoked salmon bagel sandwich was packed with flavour from the cream cheese, salmon and super fresh arugula. The bagel seemed freshly baked and tender.What a happy surprise to come upon this gem!Cheers from your Canadian visitors!
