Only been to this location once, and all I can say is wow. The food is delicious. Will definitely will be back.
I lived in the area for 15 years and when Angelo's opened it was like a gift from the Gods. Everything, and I mean everything I've eaten there is delicious - and I've eaten just about every item on the menu. My favorite is the pasta fagioli - the best I've had. Their pizza is about as close to NY style as you can get outside of NY. I moved out of the area about 1 yr ago, but I still make the trek to Angelos often. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. The staff is quite friendly and attentive. This is your quintessential neighborhood Italian eatery, but with highly elevated quality.
Ordered Chicken Parm from a picture shown of a huge chicken cutlet that took up a whole plate, covered in sauce and melted cheese.I received a CHK PARM SUB, a thin piece of chicken, little sauce and little cheese. Garlic rolls had no taste. Pasta E Favoli soup was tasty. Eggplant Sub, which I DID order, was good.
Was at Memorial West Hospital. After a few days I came up with an idea because of the outstanding job And the hard-working nurses I thought it would be very nice to order pizza so I ordered over $80.00 try to give them the credit card and was told you pay for it when it arrived. So I get a phone call and the person spoke Spanish. So I was taken down to the front lobby there was no pizza so I called to find out where the person was. She was back in emergency so I was taken over to the emergency and the person was not there so I called the pizza place and was told she was at the front so we went back to the front The driver went back to the emergency room I said you got to be kidding so I got a call from a different person said she was coming back around the front so I was waiting and waiting I said now what happen was told she got lost this went on for over 40 minutes. I had enough what a way to run a business if they would took my credit card all the person had to do was delivered to the front. And someone would’ve taking it back up to the Fifth floor everyone was asking what happened to the pizza. How embarrassing the hard-working staff was looking forward to the pizza. I made sure every person know never ever order a pizza from this place. When I get home I will make sure everyone knows about this on my Block the experience I went through. Talk to the Owner about the problem he said that’s the way we run a business he could care less amazing how people stay in business with a attitude like that.
Found them by accident on the way to another Italian restaurant down the street. So made a U turn and decide to give them a try. Place has a very nice Italian ambience and very clean and spell so good. Waitress was on point. Food was excellent and price right. Had the spaghetti with meat sauce with pasta fagilio soup and garlic bread. Every was well prepared and service was great.
Pizza out here in south Florida looks more appealing than it taste. Its a 6 1/2 outta 10 for me. Im frm Chicago srry haha
Great food excellent service. The pizza is unbelievable as are there soups. I haven’t had any of their Italian dinners but my daughter has and she loved it as she is a picky eater. Highly recommend!
So some friends and I stopped in here for lunch after a birthday party and that was the beginning of more great decisions to come. This place actually has professional wait service to where you only have to think about your cup being refilled and someone will show up. The Pizza is the closest I've had to NY Italian (minus the grease AND Robust Taste). The wings are GREAT, no really, They're great!! Really Like the food, Loved the service and the prices were good!! Will go back.
It's Sunday at 8:58 pm and the door is locked. Not okay to bait and switch.
So I went to eat here with some friends after an active outing and was pleasantly surprised. We were a BIG crowd and not to mention it was mostly young girls as we were having a lunch after a birthday gathering. The service was not only swift and accurate they made QUALITY recommendations and was EXTREMELY accommodating to our crowd. Our girls were, well being girls with the group bathroom bit and all. However, they put up with the whole bit and still managed GREAT service with a smile and not to mention the pizza was great!! NOT salty but very flavorful and well cooked. I'll definitely go back!!
