Nice to try Haitian food for first time at Alamod ... Very helpful to suggest options.. Tried Akra fry and it was delicious. Family run , cooked and served with love which we may not see at many places. Wish the best for Alamod !
Customer service was good but the person who prepared my food was of the worst, if someone call just go head and say no he gave me so little food for $19 which it’s not fair.
The owner and front guy who were there were professional, accommodating, and friendly. Food was great—high quality and stood out above the other Haitian places we've tried. We got the stew chicken and tasso cabrit (fried goat), both with diri (black rice), fried plantains, and pikliz. You can tell they put care and effort into their food, from the texture and freshness of the meat and rice (you know some places serve hard chewy meat well past its prime, old dry rice, etc.) to the quick-pickle of the onions and bell peppers they garnish the entrées with.
Best Haitian food from Vero Beach to Miami. The Akra, Marinade, Diri joujou, was so flavorful. This was truly authentic Haitian cuisine. The staff was so friendly, receiving us with a warm welcoming. I don't usually post a review, but Alamod Carribean Restaurant has been on my taste bud since. I'm so proud ?? ?? ??
