Food was good. Tried the steak burrito and was really good. Service was great. We arrived late and they didn't rush us. Will return to try other items on the menu.
Discovered this restaurant when I was going to the Colombian restaurant next door. I love Mexican food. The neon colored mural and music beckoned me in. Also having lived in Los Angeles, I love taquerias. So I decided to give this restaurant a try.Like so many restaurants in Hialeah, the staff don't speak much English. So I was grateful for my handy Google Translation app to help me with ordering my meal. The menu is pretty concise. Apps, tacos and a few entree items. They had enchiladas de pollo but I actually wanted enchiladas with fish or shrimp instead. They said the enchiladas were already made so the chef couldn't do the substitution. Therefore I ordered the Mar Y Tierra. As I waited for it to be prepared, I enjoyed snacking on the crispy tortilla chips and salsa. The steak and shrimp arrived sizzling on a fajita cast iron skillet and came with rice and beans, plantains, and a very tasty tamarind sauce. The food was delicious. The meat and shrimp arrived tender. I tend to like my steak cooked medium which is how it came out. But the cast iron continued to cook it so it was too chewy and well done by the time I was done with my meal. Maybe next time I would tell them to cook it less in the kitchen so it won't be so overdone on the cast iron skillet as I eat.I'd like to go back and try the tacos and the churros that seem to be getting high praise.
This place is a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated, super clean and amazing authentic Mexican food. We will definitely be going back for more!
I ordered food from this restaurant online and I really regret it. The tacos and burrito were cold and soggy. The rice from the burrito was hard and the meat tasted rotten. I've never had this experience from a restaurant before and I was hoping for the food to be great due to the previous great reviews. Now I have a terrible stomachache. How can you guys prepare something like this to a customer?
Great tacos! Quick service! Fresh ingredients. 10/10
The place is very nice but it is not authentic Mexican food and it lacks more sauce in everything it sells. The nachos that are given without any sauce and the spicy sauce is not spicy at all, that's why it is not Mexican food
awesome place great atmosphere very clean. the service makes you feel like family! beautiful plate presentation and very fresh and tasty everything but the meats could use some work. the cochinita tacos were a little salty and the carne asada was under cooked and tough to chew. but always return!
The service was amazing, the food really authentic and flavorful, and very affordable, orchatas and agua de Jamaica were real, not the envelope type.
Absolutely great. From the staff, to the food. Wooww. The music is so relaxing, and fits the location. They have a beautiful art work up that I recommend to check out.Highly recommend the steak tacos, and must try the habanero sauce. Does have a huge kick so be ready
This place is amazing, really good food and the price is just right, will come back again soon to have more delicious real Mexican Food. This is a must see when you are in the area.
