I've always grew up with their cakes. My dad would buy me and my siblings our birthday cakes from here. I still love them
There was only one person in the store when I walked in. It took over 7 min for someone to ask me for my order. I don’t know if it was because I don’t look like I speak Spanish but there was no reason for the long wait, although I changed my mind about what I had planned on ordering (tostada); ended up ordering Cuban tostada y croquetas. I only wanted 3 croquettes and got 6 on my bread which was more than I can eat so saved half the sandwich for a different day. Overall pleased and the store stays busy and full of patrons; was definitely and folks waiting when I left.
Todo me gusta es muy rico lo que hacen
After 27 years of going to this Vicky Bakery, a staple in Hialeah, they changed to Catalina Croquetas. What a disgrace. My routine of going every weekend to taste their delicious ham pink croquettes has been ruined. Wow
I remember this place back from when my parents used to get my birthday cakes at age 5! I recently rediscovered it when I took a class at MDC North. They have a small deli section where you can get Cuban sandwiches, Medianoches and my personal favorite Carb and Cholesterol overdose: Panes con Pasta! The only bummer is that the parking lot us verry cramped and they're only open until 7 weekdays. Of course they still have birthday cakes and a great variety of sweet treats, as well as of course - cortaditos!
They are very nice quick and ready to help polite. This is the place to go for your birthday needs or special occasion love it.
I love Vicky Bakery! Everytime I'm in Miami, I come to my favorite bakery. I usually get same items. Guava pastry and ham croquettes to go. I got a chocolate layer cake which I ate in my car too but didn't take a photo. It was out of this world;great. I spilt my coffee on the way out because lid was not on properly closed. An employee possibly owner or manager was cleaning windows asked me to come back in an she had server to replace my cup with a new one. The only thing that I didn't find here was seating. A coffee place should have seating. This is the first Vicky Bakery that I came too that didn't have seating. I may have purchased more items if I was able to enjoy my Cafe Con Leches at bakery. Everything was fresh too. I will still come back here to this store. Everyone was nice and friendly too. Store was very clean inside also.
Everyhing is pretty, service is nice, but everything you consume is extremely loaded with sugar!
My husband went and bought some Pastels and some Flan!!! The Flan was the Creamiest, i have ever had. I used to get my flan from the KFC on 49th St...But Vicky Bakery is Soooo Much Better!!!!
Baked empanadas are full if meat, chicken or spinach. They are delicious and reasonably priced. Sell out fast inthe am.
