Apparently menu has changed and they still are learning it. We have to come back few times to the counter because they forgot to put all items of the order; at the end we did not want it to go one more time for the "cilantro sauce"Food was ok, and beyond that lady at front did not know how to ring what we asked for, she was pretty friendly all the time.
They don't have any onions of any kind even though they come with my order.The fresh salsa smells weird, definitely not fresh and they give you a half full container.The cilantro is watery, I don't think it's made recently or well prepared.
I’m sorry but, this amount of food is unacceptable. Preferred a steak platter with rice and beans and got half of the order served… this is a joke and It feels like they just robbed me for my money.
I went in today for dinner. The lady preparing didn't even change her gloves after preparing the order before us. I asked her politely to please change her gloves as she was touching the counter while getting ready to prep our food, and she got upset. It took them 30 minutes before we even got our food. This is not great customer service. From my understanding, gloves should be changed after preparing people's orders. Why is it that all Pollo Tropicals are getting like this?
It has been like 5 times in a row that I have been to this location and they never have any cilantro sauce. I asked the employee why that was, as this was now the 5th occurrence. His answer “we ain’t got anyone to make it” I giggled and asked if they had any other sauce, he said salsa is all we have. I have worked in numerous food industries, and this staff and management is not organized enough to ha someone assigned to doing something as simple to fill sauces. Last option asked if I could try my save inside , they advise no sauces inside either. Staff was unprofessional and also gave me the wrong order and attitude when I questioned them !Zero zero zero
The best fast food joint in Florida. And also the most bang for your buck.
I really liked it. Not bad for descent food that beats typical fast food chains ( burgers, etc. ). There's plenty of room for improvement when it comes to quality, portion size, and variety, but it looks like they are trying.
Went in right now to this pollo tropical and ordered a tropichop what I revived is not even half of what a normal serving would look like. I got it served in the shallow plate in which the tostones would be placed in. I have gone to this location multiple times before and have never experience this.
I never write reviews, but I had to. This Pollo has the WORST efficiencies and customer service. I walked to the order pickup section and let them know I was there to pickup, the associate told me to look around that everyone was there for pickup and walked away. A door dash driver asked to speak with the manager to which another employee rolled her eyes and walked away. I asked how many orders in front of mine, after waiting for 30 minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready an hour ago, to which I was looked at and ignored. I finally received my order at the hour mark and asked for garlic cilantro to which I was told they were “out”. I understand there is a shortage of employees, but at least be empathetic and have good customer service skills. Please do yourself the favor and avoid this restaurant at all costs.
Only reason I am providing a one star review is because I cant give a negative star.Time and Time again this restaurant has issues.There is either a food item issue as far as shortages( which isn't employee's fault). But what is their fault , is when I ask for a condiment or anything for that fact , that they claim they don't have it because they are lazy to fetch it from the back . I have witness a manager ( Lady) who has scold her employees for doing thisBut my major complaint is the Verbal attack my sister received today from this location from Lucy the Cashier and Her manager ( Male) who was working at 11am 12.30.21.My sister doesnt speak spanish .She went through the drive through and she gave her order to Lucy . Lucy explains she doesn't speak English. After attempting to give the order , Lucy seemed very annoyed and short with my sister. When my sister notice the order incorrect , she got out of the car to get the item that was missing. no big deal right. So She asked at the counter for the items that was missing . The manager , who out of no where starts to yelland started cursing at her with other customers including children around.Claiming that she was aggressive towards the employee. She explained that all she wanted was her item and she asked kindly but at this point the manager is being very nasty and it escalated beyond where it needed to . This is the type of management Pollo Tropical hires?NOW I have to travel 3 miles to get Pollo because apparently the location on 60th street has it together and one that is 0.8 miles from here we live cant handle it .If you cant get employees that are at the very least respectful to human beings, shut the location down until further notice. This isn't the first time someone has had to deal with rude employees or managers at this location, and I have reported this to Pollo Corp office.
