Very disappointed with the portions size rice, chicken and balsamic tomatoes.I got surprised when I opened the box an realized that is not even half of the portions they used to serve. The name should be changed to “Baby Pollo Tropical”
Ordered via Uber. No onions on tiny pork portion, requested barbecue sauce missing, no utensils, no dressing on salad. No one to answer the phone. DO NOT use this location as they take advantage of you not being able to contact them.
This review is for all Pollo Tropical locations. Their corporate strategy is less for more; less food for more money. Prices have increased to the point where you might as well go to a regular Cuban restaurant to eat or order takeout. The small spoonful of rice, drop of beans, and smallest portions of chicken I've ever seen (maybe they're serving baby chickens) won't even satisfy a child's hunger, much less an adult. Be prepared to complain everytime you are served food in order to get more, but be nice it's not the employee's fault. Also, always check the food as they often get the orders mixed up and forget to add items you ordered. The staff has okay customer service and seem to be overwhelmed most of the time. This review reflects not one single visit, but rather multiple visits in the past 12 months at multiple locations in Miami-Dade. Pollo Tropical's corporate priorities are clearly finances before customers.
Pretty okay, the beans are the worst I've had but it's alright overall, it's pretty much Cuban food drive-thru. If you get the fried yuca ask for the cilantro sauce, it's the best thing on the menu.
The food was delicious and very well seasoned. The chicken was moist, juicy, and not dry and burnt. The salad was very fresh. The cook is amazing back there. The wait wasn't long as well. 2 thumbs up! You most certainly won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
Was denied ordering extra Items at the window. I was told that they are timed and I couldn't purchase additional items at the windo cause it messes up their time. Called the Main Customer Service Line...and I was told that This was not Policy and they regret my experience. Staff needs more training...won't be going back to this Location.
My experience was really good, the food was amazing and the customer service was the best!!
Just ordered through Uber eats and its always the same thing. There's always at least one mising item. There's always a smaller portion. This time around I ordered large plantains and they brought small. There was missing bread and i ordered for multiple salsa and curry mustards and non were delivered.
It's good... but you have to be careful so they don't give you burnt chicken...
I ordered a chicken platter and the employee who took my order had a very good and positive attitude and offered me a variety of sauces. The food was spectacular and prices were very accessible, due to the great customer service and the attention I received today, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Best latin food place!!!
