After ordering to go, I got home to find that the rice (moros) were not freshand had a tough texture, the French fries in the kids meal had burnt debris from being fried in dirty oil, and the pork rinds (chicharrones) smaller and tasted terrible. In my judgements this was not from lack of freshness, but from being cooked in burnt oil. The fried sweet plantains were also not fresh and were slightly burnt, and had the same taste and smell as the pork rinds.Needless to say, I will not be eating from here again, and would recommend that anyone who does, inspect their food before consuming it. It is a shame because I used to enjoy their breakfast on a regular basis several years ago.
Small, hole in the wall, very good Cuban eatery next to Publix. The food portions are really plentiful. I love they serve mashed malanga as a side dish.
We have been clients of that cafeteria since they left the Latinamerican on 68th Street. The food while Lázaro Sr. was there was spectacular, today we returned after a long time without going and the food was terrible, it had no seasoning, the meat (pork chop) was raw and tasteless, the chicken steaks were the same and extremely expensive for the quality. I'm so sorry to have to give a bad review but I just threw away $60.00 and no one ate. We don't go back anymore.
Very kind staff, large portions, very reasonable prices...felt homier before the remodeling, but great overall.
Tons of good food for a decent price. The tostadas here are incredibly large. There's a lot of bang for your buck.

Latin Cuban fast food it’s fast food can’t expect any better than that it’s not the best but it’s not the worst service there is great and coffee is amazing but food is like all fast food you get what you pay for

Order some croquettas and a tequeno of cheese ,server reappears order and I see her writing it down ok cool she brings the wrong items no problem I'll take and I'll pay for it just bring what ask for ,nicely mistakes happen. Order my food to go she repeats it and she writes it down correctly . I love an hour away couldn't wait to get home I made a mistake not checking before I left my whole order wrong
