Nice cozy place with good food, but it could be better, the black beans I had with rice and Vaca Frita lacked flavor or texture, it was more like a soup. Also the ridiculous rule of charging $2 dollars for sharing a meal is outrageous, my wife and I usually share a meal due to healthy eating habits but it’s the first time I had to pay for an extra plate. Our server was apologetic and explained that usually customers get angry at them for telling them that they were being charged extra for a plate. I paid my fee and eat my food but I for certain won’t be coming back.
I ordered my food by means of their website. The chicken, as seen in the photo, was raw on the inside. The plantains were cold. My wife said the Vaca Frita was was “delicious.” I called to get my food remade, but the staff never answered.
Ordered Uber eats because I’m home with a fever when the food got here it was undercooked and chewy so I called them to tell them what happened and when I was talking to the manager she just hung up on me. This was on Sunday may 1st at 4:15 ridiculously bad experience while home with a fever never again will I eat or order from this place ?
Update: food was horrible. They used fake meat to sub for steak. (Palomilla, churrasco, skirt). The soup was served cold. The staff was wonderful and try their best but have to apologize too much for the food.I mostly do take out now. Call ahead. Order is ready and Correct! Same great food!
One of the worst experiences I’ve had ordered food from Casavana because I have a fever when it got here it was undercooked and red on the inside when I called to tell the manager she just hung up on me I will never ever be here again ridiculously bad service and full quality
Never fails. These people are incompetent. Every time I order breakfast and ask for a café con leche (clarito /light coffe) this happens. It doesn’t matter if I write the instructions in Spanish or English. It’s truly frustrating. It’s not the first time that’s why i have decided to write a review
One of the best Cuban restaurants in Miami. Always busy, but service is always excellent. The food is simply awesome. So may choices from traditional to a little fusion mixed in.
La atención muy buena y rápida, gracias
I have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is clean. The restrooms are clean. The food is very good and the price is good. The portion dice are almost the same as pre- I am East good size portion and even I get threw meals out of the milanesa steak. It is why I keep coming back and will for as long as thing s are good.
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I order a simple Cuban bread toast with scramble eggs and cheese. I also ordered an orange juice. It took me 20 minutes to get them which the female worker said my order would be ready. I arrived at the window to pick up my order and the two female workers were looking lost when I asked about my order. I gave her my name and she went to look for an order under a name that wasn’t mine. She came back and I corrected her pronunciation. She went back and said she couldn’t find my order. She stated it wasn’t made and moved on to the next customer. If I was Spanish I’m sure that would have been handled differently. THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU CANT GET SOMEONE TO TAKE ORDERS ON THE PHONE PROPERLY THEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE ANSWERING THE PHONE. I PASSED MULTIPLE PLACES TO COME HERE WHICH IN FACT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER SERVICE AND DEFINITELY A CHEAPER BILL SOMEWHERE ELSE. I MEAN ITS EGG AND TOAST FOR GODS SAKES. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
