As usually I got Lomo Salteado- this time the meat was chewy and poor quality. I asked why the answer was the prices are up so they are using other type of meat… wow they didn’t advertised the change and the price of this plate is $20 dollars- I paid this amount for the worst meat - duals go to a stake house. So sad that they at risk of loosing clients-I should not pay for this! Definitely will not come again the environment is not that great even fir that price-not the quality of the meat. The people are friendly and trying to make it up- so for them I five a 2
At first coming into the restaurant I thought we were in for a treat because I've been to the Tayta in Sunny Isles and its pretty decent. But I was deeply disappointed with this location since the 1/2 Pollo ala brasa was super small im talking it looked like 1/4 chicken anywhere else & the meat was red instead of fully cooked. Also the Leche de Tigre had what tasted like old lime with a ton of onions and barely any fish. Im sure they've done better and could do better but that wasn't the case for me. If you're looking for a great Peruvian restaurant look up Mercado 31 they never fail! :)

We have never had a bad experience in all our years of frequenting El Tayta. Our kids are OBSESSED with the tallerin verde. They could eat it for every meal and be completely satisfied. The traditional Peruvian breakfast- chicharonnes, tamale, and sweet potato, is amazing. The best Peruvian food in Florida, and I have tried them all!
My wife is from South America and she taught me about so many foods from that area. Peruvian food is one of them and this place does not disappoint. Very good food, superb staff, clean restaurant and priced well.
I've waited a bit to post that's because I prefer to give very good reviews.... If you own a restaurant I wanted the busiest boardwalks and you can't be polite to your customers or even see them at the same table or help them understand the menu then you may want to consider another line of work.
Honestly I love the sea food fried dish I had. I can't remember the name but everything was so well cooked that I think I might bring my friends next time time I come.

One of those places for tourists that unfortunately turned out to be expensive and not good. They don’t make an effort to deliver good service nor quality. Very unfortunate considering their location.
