If you want the absolute best Asian food, do not waste your time on the chain restaurants. You must try this restaurant! Everything is fresh and made from scratch, including the appetizers. I ordered the crab rangoon, which I have ordered many many times in other restaurants, these were absolutely the lightest, crispiest, best tasting I have ever eaten! I ordered the Suki noodle soup, which is a little spicy, it comes in a large bowl packed with a meat of your choice, vegetables glass noodles and an amazing broth. My companion ordered the crispy noodle bowl with shrimp, it too came in a large bowl packed with vegetables and a lot of shrimp, which were a good size. We ordered the Thai iced tea, which is very delicious and interesting. It is a coral color that is sweet and quite refreshing and delicious. Their menu features many items and every item has a picture to go with it. The pictures are quite reasonable for the quantity of food you get and I am most anxious to go back and try everything on the menu. This restaurant is well worth a visit. The host / server was very friendly and attentive and service was quite prompt. Definitely make it a point to visit this location, you won't be disappointed.

Very welcoming staff . We ordered Shrimp rolls , Tom yum soup and shrimp chicken basil fried rice. Rolls completely filled with shrimp which is delicious. I enjoyed the Tom yum soup the most. I think fried rice could have been more authentic.I appreciate the fact that these guys took last minute order and served very quickly with delicious food.

My meal last night was delicious! I enjoyed my Thai hot chicken, Thai sweetened tea and sticky rice mango dessert!! Great friendly service!

The food here to me was great. My green curry was just as hot as I would have liked it to be. (Thai Hot: not for normal people) My wife really enjoyed her beef and broccoli, but didn't care for the steamed dumplings. They were not the normal Japanese ones that she used to. Service was mediocre. Not very attentive, but not a bad experience all together.

Delicious crab puffs!! Lots of cream cheese. We forgot to take a picture before devouring all 6 of them!! For our entrees, we got chicken Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. They were pretty good, nothing fabulous. Mild spice was a little too spicy for me. We also got Thai Tea which was a little too sweet for me. I’m not usually super picky, but I’d say this is just your average Thai restaurant!!

Very friendly staff and the food is outstanding. You will all love to eat here.

Satisfies my Thai food cravings and the staff is super nice. I know I can have any sort of Thai food to my presences especially since i like some heat and spice in my foods. It has been consistently good and me and my roomies love getting take out too. Parking can be kinda limited in the plaza.

Awesome Pad Thai for a hole in the wall Asian joint! Homemade spring rolls were great too. Definitely going to go back for more!

The best Thai food in Gainesville. Everything my family and I have tried at this restaurant has been spectacular. The owners and employees are extremely kind and make the experience that much better. I would definitely recommend this Jewel to any Thai food fanatics!! If I could I would give them 6 stars!!

I ordered the house rice with shrimp, noodle soup, crispy shrimp, cheese wontons to share. Everything was pretty good. The rice literally had a few shrimp in it as a downside. I Waited awhile for someone to come up front but I could see she was helping the table too. There's another place by the interstate where I ordered most of the same things... that was a bit more tasty but this was still good.
