Best bubble tea in Gainesville. Food is also delicious. Nice and clean place. Staff is really friendly.
I was visiting from out of town with my boyfriend to see my sister. I planned to go to visit some springs here with them and hopefully find somewhere with decent ramen and maybe even a good Thai tea. After thoroughly researching my options in the area I came across Bestea. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to drive an hour to check it out after our long day of adventuring. It was so beyond worth it in every way. After I took the first bite I immediately felt sadness in my heart that there is no Bestea in my hometown. I have not had a worthwhile bowl of ramen in two years. My sister and I got the tonkotsu ramen. The texture of the noodles was as perfect as perfect can get. The broth itself was extremely flavorful and I couldn’t help but drink as much of it as I could, broth that good should never be wasted. The pork belly itself was perfectly cooked, not soggy like a lot of the places I have previously tried and was as equally flavorful as the broth. And they had actual ramen eggs made the proper way , they were marinated obviously with love and so so so worth the add on to my bowl. My boyfriend got the Shoyu ramen which is like a spicy version of the tonkatsu. He was so ecstatic to finally get a spicy bowl of ramen that also was delicious in every way. We each got teas, they were all as up to par as the ramen and a perfect compliment to the meal as a whole. I could go on about this place all day but please , do yourself a favor and just don’t consider any other place in Gainesville to get ramen. This is THE ONE. Thank you so much Bestea for being 100% worth the drive. I will absolutely be back as soon as I can. Long live BESTEA!!!! <3
Tea Bestea values their customers :). The staff is kind and welcoming. I’ve tried about 7 different flavors of their milk boba and herbal teas throughout the past few months & they hit everytime! The Kumquat Lemon w/ Crystal boba and strawberry latte is my favorite. Drinks are pretty affordable and they don’t charge for simple things like requesting less ice/more sweetness (like similar boba places around town charges). The drinks come out in under 5 minutes or 5-7 minutes so it’s a quick in and out. Very nice and chill ambiance. The ramen and the gyoza also taste pretty good!! ?
Delicious ramen and large selection of different teas. Will definitely come back if we drive this way again!
4.5 (and rounding up). Probably the best tea flavor in all of the boba places I’ve tried in Gainesville. Super refreshing and always consistently good. Literally they do have the bestea. The staff is nice and they get your order done quickly! The only thing I was confused/disappointed about was when I called in for a takeout order, I tried to create my own poke bowl since that’s what the images of their menu online on various website offered and we were told we couldn’t for some reason so we ordered from their 1-8 pre-made poke bowl menu. Not bad tasting, though, just not the combo of ingredients I would’ve wanted. Tons of parking available in the plaza.
My boyfriend and I came here because of the cute name and also because we’ve been on a mission to try all of the boba places in Gainesville. We got the Mango Tea with brown sugar boba and Passionfruit Tea with their homemade taro boba. We are both super impressed because there are actual fruit bits and juice in the tea, which is pretty rare. Also, HOMEMADE BOBA BASED ON SEASONAL FLAVORS!! That is a first for me to find EVER! We only tried their tea, but we will definitely be back to try their food (we saw lots of to-go orders and that’s usually good news).
great place to go for dinner, had the ramen on multiple occasions and it has consistently been good. atmosphere and decor is inviting and comfortable. ordering is easy, with lots of variety. prices are pretty solid considering other options for the same menu. my personal favourite is the tonkotsu ramen. but others are great! and for boba/teas, the drinks are great with A LOT of variety, again for my personal favourite, matcha milk tea.
Ramen was just perfect. All of the flavors I’ve been missing since moving to Gainesville.Taro tea was delicious full flavor - I had never tried cheese foam and it complemented it perfectly. Will 100% be coming back.
Maybe boba isn’t their specialty or my wife and I just got so unluck. So I just want to inform them here; bobas are supposed to be soft when you serve them. That means when it gets too cold, it will be harder to chew. Now, the taste. It may be subjective. For me, the taste lacks. We ordered Taro and brown sugar. Both taste meh.
I didn't have any tea but the Ramen was very good. The poke bowl was good as well.
