Hoping Sonny's management sees this review. I have been eating at Sonny's since the 70s and it saddens me to see the franchise slipping.I understand modernizing the restaurants to the new layout, gotta change with the times, but this slow erosion away from Sonny's tradition of excellence is hard to see.Here is what I see taking place.After about 6pm the chicken is more baked than slow smoked.The salad bar is goneWent from two slices of garlic bread to oneThe side salads keep getting smallerAnd now the once amazing banana pudding has been replaced with some yellow sludge out of a can.I have been going to Sonny's less and less since the cost cutting changes started to surface. I'm just about to stop going at all.Please get back to the quality that made this a great restaurant. Until then, I can't recommend you anymore.

While others rave about this place, I got another mediocre meal. My pulled pork was dry & had a lot of hard pieces in it. The sides were average. That's it.
Always a wonderful time when we visit here. Nichole was our server that day and she was beyond extraordinary. She definitely went out of her way to provide excellent service. It was full when we got there, but we were seated quickly. Our food was sublime. Every time we head this way we always stop here for lunch and they never disappoint.
Had a great lunch date with my husband and granddaughter. The services there was on point and the food even better!!!!
What a wonderful place to eat!!My husband, 10 year old son, and myself were on our way home from visiting in South Carolina and decided to eat at the most in-opportune moment because there was hardly anything around to eat that was open at 7pm on a Tuesday night. So we typed food in the GPS and clicked on Sonny’s. Little did we realize that it was 12 mins out of our way. We decided to go for it and we are glad we did.The food was great and hot and the staff were very nice and accommodating.I just want to point out one thing we noticed that made me want to give them 5 stars. Our waitress was bringing our food to the table; when the tray tipped just a little bit, just enough to allow two of our plates to fall onto the floor(accidents happen). The thing that stood out was how fast her other team members ran over to help her while other team members we shouting out what was on the floor to the cooks. What great team work!!!!Too often do we see other waiters walk away and worry about their own tables.Great job guys!!!!!
Went to this Sonny's this afternoon to get a pint of cole slaw to use at home on hot dogs. Got home, opened the cole slaw to find the container not even half way full. For a $7 container of cole slaw to contain literally less than a cup, is just completely unacceptable. I can not express in polite terms the frustration I am feeling, after going out of my way to stop at Sonny's to get home only to find I have a half empty container. I am asking you to make this right.
Slow, lazy, less than caring staff that really just don’t do the name justice. Wish it was less trash like it used to be. McDonald’s is usually hiring if you have no motivation to work for your money.
What can we say, SONNY'S food always GREAT! Our waitress brought us the wrong food, but picked it up before we could sample it. All's well that ends well she brought OUR food and just as expected it was great!
