Extremely good food but don't use the left lane. A very simple two item order took 25 minutes to get because they focus so heavily on the right lane that they seem to forget the left lane exists. Their excuse was they have a new person but legit, over a dozen cars went through the right lane in the time it took to get my food - and not because I had a large or complicated order. Two menu-standard items! How does one new person explain ignoring one lane like that?Anyway, take the right lane and you'll be fine.

This was my first time eating here with me and my boyfriend, and they were amazing!! We were going to try Popeyes but they line was so long, so we opted to try something more local. We didn’t wait no more than 5-7 minutes for our food! So fast and so friendly. We ordered the Cuban, tuna melt, Philly steak, and large sweet tea for so cheap! Everything was mad good. Definitely recommend this place that we went through the line a second time and ordered more!

Fast and speedy service. Food is out in super fast. Make sure to get atleast a double burger if you're an adult. Good bacon. Shoestring style crispy fries. Alot of options.

When I was a child, it was so special to get a burger from Sandwich Inn. They were on the other side of town but my Mom worked that side and we would get one of these when I was at her place of employment or that side of town. once I had a car I went there occasionally for that great burger. I left Gainesville for over 24 years in the military and came back home. I tried them once and thought, hum.....as good as when I was a child? I wasn't sure. years past, I thought they had closed and today found then open. let me tell you what. the burger brought back many memories and the taste was all still there. True to this day, the lettuce goes on the mayo first on my burgers at home and I know where ai learned that from. Thank you for bringing back good memories and still being here for us. I will be back soon!!! blessed....RF

Overall, I don't see what all the hype is about. I've visited this location multiple times and purchased various food items at random times and days during the week. After getting a cheeseburger that seemed like it was left outside overnight and left on the back of the grill all day, I decided that lunch food was not for me at this location. Never mind the fries that are sometimes not quite finished and other times so caked with grease a dog would walk away from them. Regardless, its poor taste certainly isn't worth the money they charge or the space they take up on a seeming unoccupied and most dilapidated part of town. To give them the benefit of the doubt I thought I'll stick with breakfast who could possibly go wrong with a bowl of grits eggs and bacon. I should have known! The eggs. if you eat them then there is more wrong with you than the cook that obviously forgot to remove them off the grill or clearly has no sort of measurement of time. The bacon is delicious in parts. If you are lucky, you'll get a strip that was left under the hot press so long it'll bring like it was seasoned with tenderizer. But if you are like any other customer, half of the bacon will be done and the other half will seem like it was left to hang off the grill. None the same, it all ends up in a bowl for more than $5 bucks. They will shower you in condiments like salt, pepper and butter. This isn't good customer service it's essential for those of us running late with no other option. At no time after each visit did I reach out to management. Delivering an exceptional customer experience doesn't seem like their forte. I blame myself but I owe this buyer's beware notice to you.

Rude service ,the burger I ordered was old dried out and burnt not to mention it was 3$ and smaller than something off a dollar menu. The fry's a whole nother story they were cold and the oil that they were cooked in was rancid.

The food is awesome the burgers fries and onion rings sweet tea shakes breakfast it's the best. I've been eating here for decades it's the best place in Gainesville. I Love sandwich Inn for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and dessert.

I have been going to Sandwich Inn for years and years and I will never go there again. This is the 2nd time I ordered just a hamburger all the way, the way I usually do and it was RAW!!! They are extremely slow and my rinky dink burger that was small and flat as a pancake was RAW!!!

First and LAST time here ? went here for myself and my client. I asked for a cheeseburger all the way which included tomato, lettuce ketchup,Mayo and mustard… a cheeseburger with only Mayo and onion only (due to client allergies) and another cheeseburger with Mayo only along with 3 small fries…. As I was orderly and trying to be specific as possible so that there were no mishaps I can clearly see the woman taking my order through the window was clearly not in the mood for me to tell her the specifics of how I wanted the sandwiches… she continued to interrupt me as if she wanted to finish my sentence and TELL me how I wanted my sandwich which led me to keep saying no and start over with the specifics. Once we got through that I waited forever on my food NO COMPLAINTS because I clearly had more patience than she and I also understood they were short staffed…. After receiving my food I’m convince these sandwiches and fries were rewarmed from the previous day…. It was awful…. My all the way sandwich was everything except all the way. My client whom only wanted Mayo n onion had tomato ( which he’s allergic to) and the cheeseburger with Mayo only was simply a burger…. No cheese no Mayo …. I tried to call to speak to someone not to be rude but simply just ask that they provide better customer service…. My client who is 93 is ill and was so excited to send me to this place he loved for years and a place I’ve never tried only to be given food he couldn’t eat…. I feel if the young lady was just patient and kind enough to let me give her the specifics of my order everything could have been better instead at noon she was clearly over her day already and really didn’t care how we preferred the food WE PAID FOR so instead she took the order how she wanted and sad to say the food was just like her attitude NASTY …. I’m still drinking ginger ale to try to get the horrible taste from my mouth

This place used to be a reliable local staple. I ate there for years, and boasted their consistency. The last three occasions I’ve been, have been disappointing, if not terrible. I stopped going at all for a year and a half after a long-time member of their staff was extremely rude to me for her mistake charging me for the food behind me, and me not instantly catching the problem with the handful of change she jabbed at me, but instead when she handed me as massive bag of food for the car behind me. I simply pointed out that it wasn’t my order, and she became pretty snappy and rude. I returned a about 6 or 7 months ago, out of desperation for a sweet tea. It was so sweet it wasn’t palatable, and my burger was sloppy. Today, I took a shot at a tea again, and sat stuck in between the single car in front of me, and eventually the one behind, for 15 minutes, at both microphones, without anyone moving in line, or my order being taken. I consider myself pretty patient. I wait at Macs and Bevs all of the time, because they keep it moving. But, I didn’t event see a human moving inside. Finally, the guy behind me bailed out, so I could leave too. They weren’t busy today. I don’t ever see them busy anymore, even after dropping their hours. They’ve just really gone in the tank, which is unfortunate considering how long they’ve existed in Gainesville.
