My brother and I are obsessed with this restaurant. First of all, it’s so homey and inviting on the inside. I think it’s a beautiful location in the middle of Gainesville. Their food is top quality! Always, might I add! I always get the vegan shawarma because I am seriously in love with the combination of flavors. My brother is vegan, so he loves the detail and care they always put into the food. Please get their fries! You are going to love them as much as I do ?

Great vegan shawarma. Very good felafel. Only had take-out, so can't say much about the atmosphere. Was quite pleased with the takeout.

It’s like dating a supermodel. At first you’re excited with the new flavors bursting in your mouth. And then over time (after covid) you realize the standard has gone down, there’s no substance, no meat, just a hollow, thin sandwich.

I've never had a falafel sandwich...hot DAMN have I been missin' out!! Instant new favorite, I enjoy treating myself to one after a demanding workweek. This is my favorite kind of joint: no frills wasted on palatial interior, just a rustic little spot for some deliciously-out-of-this-world eastern nom-noms. Always look forward to returning.

Had the chicken shawarma and baklava. DEFINITELY NOT a shawarma. Its just grilled chicken. Baklava wasn't fresh, DEFINITELY frozen. Lemonade was good thought.owners response ...noun: shawarma; plural noun: shawarmasroasted meat, especially when cooked on a revolving spit and shaved for serving in sandwiches.Origincolloquial Arabic šāwirma, from Turkish çevirme ‘sliced meat roasted on a spit’ from çevirmek ‘turn, rotate’.

Very good Israeli food. The hummus was very good. The chicken fine. The pearl macaroni was very good- maybe a little heavy on the herb seasoning for my taste but we will go back. :-)

My husband tries to find fun and unusual, usually ethnic places to eat on vacations and this was one. He got to try Shakshuka, which is basically cooked tomatoes with onions and spices topped with 2 poached eggs - in his case, over hard - served with hummus, a salad of tomatoes and cucumbers and a pita. He thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the falafel pita which was very good, albeit very messy. But they had a sink in the small dining area where you could clean up, so that was a nice touch.

Soo friggin good!

Favorite place to go for a amazing lunch. Friendly staff and cozy environment. All around great place

I really like the vegan Shawarma. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because I think it's a little pricey. Unless maybe they added fries or something to the same price...In anycase... shalom!
