I had two separate orders for door dash back to back and my first order wasn't completed. I wasn't able to get anyone's attention for 10 minutes....the order was tossed at me with not respect for me or their business......my second order I picked up less than five minutes later....the lobby was locked! It is Before two pm.....wow. I guess they don't like to make money. Turning away everyone that was willing to come in ....and it was raining to boot....shocked.
Great chicken and even better biscuits, but the service is byfar the absolute worst in the entire county. The manager argued with me about an item "clearly" displayed on the menu and kept saying it wasn't on the register display so it didn't exist and I was obviously wrong with my order. Nearly an hour later I received my order and another employee showed the manager how to ring up my order which WAS clearly on the register. During my wait for my order, I watched nine different people leave out of pure frustration without their orders being taken. I firmly believe that it would be impossible for the service to get any worse than what it presently is.
The reviews are right, this is the world's most mismanaged Popeyes. The staff don't care no matter what option. I gave them 3 chances. The first 2 I went inside, it was incredibly slow, and the coworkers seemed to be playing around. This time I tried the drive through. No sauce for my chicken (I didn't request, but I forgot too and they didn't ask). That could be excusable, what's not is no spoon or fork for my mac and cheese. Please go to the other Popeyes in Gainesville.

I'm leaving this review after going here a handful of times. I just ordered a chicken sandwich, coke, and Mac and cheese. I got a spicy chicken sandwich (I have a sensitive stomach to spice, so this is now garbage unfortunately), a diet coke (aspartame makes me want to puke), and mac and cheese. So that's my time and money wasted, because I really just got mac and cheese.This quality of your order is questionable everytime. I've gotten cold/raw food before from here. Management does not care either, these reviews have been bad for so long, and the issues for roughly a year haven't been fixed.Do not spend money here.
We ate here after a day of shopping and had an issue ordering with the Popeye's app. The manager, Kiki, came out and assisted us immediately. She was super helpful and calmly explained how the redemption process worked. The cleanliness, service, and location are all fantastic. This is my new favorite Popeye's location!
I went here yesterday to get myself some fried chicken. I was not impressed with this place whatsoever. What I ordered was the three piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. I literally paid $13 for this dinner. There was like maybe three spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. And the fried chicken had hardly any meat on it. And the chicken actually tasted like it been under the heater light for quite a while. I think it's kind of sad that I can go to Zaxby's get a five finger plate with fries and coleslaw and spend $2 less and get more food. I actually get more food from a KFC then I do from a Popeyes. And that's if I get the same meal. I don't know what's happened to Popeyes but they have clearly fallen far away from their former glory. I actually genuinely feel like I got ripped off. I will definitely not be going back to this location ever again.
6pm. Says they are open till 10pm. Website says open till 11pm.Doors are locked. Staff inside will not answer phone. They are standing inside goofing around. 9 cars at the drive through trying to order.Staff refuse to take orders.They think it's a game to waste people's time. Read the recent reviews- it's more of the same.
Went to the drive thru @ 10:10. I was welcomed and then when I ordered I was ignored. I sat there for a couple of minutes, went up to the window and they avoided eye contact with me. Never opened the window. At least tell me if you're closed when it's before your posted business hours???
Ordered through the app, drive thru was wrapped around the building when I got there so I went in. It seemed like they were doing some renovation or repair but the staff was very friendly, asked if I had an online order and it was ready to go. Everything was good temp and good portion size. Will definitely order ahead again.
This Popeyes was flat out ridiculous. The store hour says that it closes at 11pm.. and I came at 9:42pm. They rudely told me “sorry we are closed” and started to sing it over and over. What kind of establishment allows their employees to talk to their customers in such a way?Blantly rude. As a secret shopper, I am appalled that this newly looking store runs its business this way. Would not recommend that you go to this Popeyes!
