This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Between 4 adults, ordered 8 banh mi sandwiches which were tiny, had the thinnest slice (just one ☝?!) of meat inside each + massive chunks of jalapeños and were mostly just bread, the dumplings were soggy and a few didn’t even have any stuffing in them! We also ordered 3x Vietnamese nems which are supposed to be fried, and are served with lettuce and mint leaves but they gave us 6 summer rolls instead (clear wrapped rolls with shrimp). Should have known when a white guy came out the back to take the order—not nice but it’s true lol.

No no no no no. Where to start. We took a big risk ordering from here as it was the last bahn mi spot open at the time. We bought edamame, 8 bahn mi sandwiches, dumplings and what we thought were Vietnamese rolls.About 78 dollars worth of food not a bad deal…I guess. But what we got was far from what we ordered and there was zero care for quality control.Let’s start with the banh mi. We ordered two different types of bahn mi sandwiches at a total of 8 sandwiches. They labeled them differently but the were all the same. Skimpy portions and none of the veggies were actually pickled. Giant slices of jalapeños almost choked out my girlfriend. The jalapeño slices weighed more than the meat. The edamame looked like it was previously frozen for some time or just not ripe for service. They were soggy and bruised. My friends ordered dumplings and they were not impressed they looked flat and void of fillings. We never got the Vietnamese rolls we asked for but instead more summer rolls. Luckily for me I love summer rolls and they weren’t bad in my opinion, I really enjoyed them. But for some odd reason they added pate in them and nobody in my party was Impressed by that weird addition. They just don’t seem to give a flying phuk. Will never step foot in there again.

Awful, terrible food, chicken knuckles, big chunks of potatoes in curry, grey been sprouts, no fresh vegetables, mushy shrimp in spring roll. Absolutely awful

This place is an absolute mess. Nothing is cleaned properly and the food didn’t even have what the menu said it had. Not impressive by any means and I’m surprised it’s still open. Be careful eating here!

10/10 sorry, the dumplings didn't last to make the picture ?

My son & stopped in for dinner recently. We were seated promptly. My son ordered a sweet tea. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban was playing on the television and we were allowed to change our seat so that my son could watch it while we waited. I ordered the Thai Curry Chicken without rice and extra veggies & my son ordered Beef Pho. Our meal arrived promptly and was hot, fresh, generously portioned, and delicious. We were checked on by the waitress and had an enjoyable meal. Prices have gone up since our first visit pre-Covid with the sweet tea at $3 & the entrees at $12 but this is really the case everywhere. I would recommend Pho Hanoi.

Waste of money.I know there are not a lot of pho options in Gainesville, but I really regret even giving this place a try. I am definitely not going back here, and I will not recommend this place to anyone I know.1) CleanlinessWalking in the store, there's a strong smell of old oil and unclean kitchen. While waiting to be seated, I could see part of the kitchen, where Kitchen staffs were preparing to-go foods with bear hands.. Just overall, the kitchen, seating area, did not look very clean, and also the tables were a bit sticky.2) Customer serviceThe signs says 'wait here to be seated', but no one was there. I was standing at the door for 5 minutes, but when a waitress comes out form the back, she goes "Just seat wherever you want". I wonder why I had to wait there standing for 5 minutes. Also, the waitress would touch the food with her bare hands when she was bringing plates out saying something looks weird... In the COVID world especially, it was very unsanitary. Waitress would drop off the check 5 minutes after we started eating and goes 'no rush at all'. Given that I had just started eating, I did not put my card on the check. maybe 10 minutes later, waitress comes to my table again and pressures that I make the payment quickly..3) Taste / price/ portionVery small portion for a $12 a bowl. And the noodles were cooked so long ago that I had to shake them for a while before I could even lift the noodles up. And the overall portion was so small. I got a beef pho, and I counted, there were 5 small pieces of sliced beef, and a little bit of noodles. There weren't that much of green onions either. But I guess the portion didn't matter after all because it tasted not so good (and unsanitary that I maybe had 20% of the food only)

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Gainesville. Staff is super friendly and quick and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the vegetarian pho.

Never go to this restaurant they reused the food from previous table that not finish and mix with your food. The way the girl clean the old food the table so they can reused it. Pho smell bad and the noodles you can tell they used from the old food and it smell very bad

Food was okay beef didn't taste fresh. Overpriced
